    Grilling

QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jul 9, 2015 -> 10:43 AM) Grill While I have a 600sqft deck thats all concrete/brick I think I'm still limited to propane which is unfortunate but expected. Pretty happy with that grill at that price. Yeah thats a really good size too.
  2. Man, I've never owned a car that long, how do you guys do it? Doesnt the new models/redesigns just make you want to trade it in?
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 9, 2015 -> 10:31 AM) Why do you need to convert it? To put it into itunes in order to play over AppleTv
  4. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 9, 2015 -> 09:59 AM) They lead baseball in most runs scored on the road. Nobody said their offense was bad, its just much better at home.
  5. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 9, 2015 -> 09:29 AM) Chrysler products, Jeep included, have had some prolific quality issues for years now, I just can't bring myself to consider them in any car shopping. Maybe now a few years after the buyout they'll start seeing improvement, not sure of that though. Also, for whatever reason, Chrysler products always have the worst sightlines. Tight windows and blind spots extra-large. Which is all too bad because I've driven Cherokee vehicles of different types before, usually as rentals, and I want to like them. I mostly do, but for the two major issues I mentioned earlier. Like I said before, the differences between the WK2 GC and the WK and previous versions are pretty large. the entire platform was rebuilt. My loaner yesterday was a Chrysler 200, pretty nice vehicle actually. I really really am not a fan of chrysler engines outside of the solid Jeep 6 and the hemi though.
  6. QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 9, 2015 -> 09:43 AM) Might as well get your water pump checked, it sounds like. He may be over the hump, or have a different config that the one with the issues. The guy at the dealership says he overwhelmingly sees it in the hemi's for some reason and its usually under 30k miles.
  7. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 9, 2015 -> 09:18 AM) Yeah how would Mark Cuban not know that? You're going to give a dude 80 million but you don't know where he lives? No chance. Gotta be click bait to be in the media these days.
  8. This is the longest its ever taken a movie to convert to MP4 format, come on Mad Max, I want to watch tonight
  9. Something is amiss with the Bluejays hitting success at home. Its almost like they know what pitch is being thrown.....

Nice, what kind of grill did you get? Condo's can be tough to buy for.
  11. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 9, 2015 -> 08:16 AM) Except Newfoundlands and Malamutes in the winter. Because goddammit they wont come inside LOL, both of my dogs never wanted to come inside, ever. Our neighbors probably thought we were torturing my Rotty but he legit did give two s***s about the cold. With that said, people who leave dogs outside 24/7 are f***ed up to me. My nieghbor in Michigan had 7 rotty's living in a cage/dog house for years. Those dogs were mean and miserable.
  12. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 04:53 PM) You kept your car for 2+ years. If your car is exploding or having major issues during a 2 year window and that is a general trend, it has got to be a pretty big POS (and that is a general trend, you don't expect new cars to die on you in the first few years or really have any issues outside of routine maintenance..not just a rare your car issue). Jeeps though, have lots of eletrical and build quality issues that show up during 4-5 year ownership durations (let alone 10 year duration vs. what you'd see from other car companies). And despite shifts in manufacturers, a lot of tech doesn't necessarily change, it continues to get leveraged / updated. It isn't as if Dodger joined Mercedes and Mercedes, who didn't build trucks and the like, just threw in new chassi's and instantly mercedez them. Yes, changes happened but cars aren't just entirely flipped over or begin from day 1, they get modified for long periods on existing parts, etc, and with exsiting teams. While I bet some of the car flipped during the pre dodge / post dodge era, I bet a lot also stayed the same (not necessarily parts wise but in terms of teams involved in actually building / designing as well as assembly plants, etc...I have no research to back this up just presuming). And I also said, Jeeps are beautiful cars, fantastic 4 wheel, early on generally nice rides, etc. My dad has a 2015 Cherokee and loves it and I'd say it drives amazingly but that doesn't mean it will do so 5 years from now. My uncle is a mechanic and the only jeep he'll swear by are manual jeep wranglers. Those things, electronics be damn, will run forever. Jeep's automatic tranny's have a lot of issues (Engines are pretty good though), but electronics and water pump are major problem areas (and just general build quality such as plastic / other parts breaking / falling off). Much of the JGC comes from the Mercedes M platform actually, at least most of the WK2 does. You can even see it in the types of windows they install vs the WK model which was an unmitigated disaster. The power plant is 100% dodge though since its a hemi and I am sure thats also the water pump issue. Luckily it supposedly kicks the bucket during the warranty period. It will be interesting to see how my wife's Cherokee does after a couple of years since I do not believe that is much in the way of Mercedes as much as it is Fiat/Chrysler. The new 8 speed tranny is actually from Jaguar and it is also moving to a 9 speed. Not sure the history on that bad boy to be honest, but the Cherokee from 2000 until now has really evolved from those original chrysler origins to now being a mismash of different manufacturers. I was just point out that there isnt much similarity between that model and this one as everything including the drivetrain and electronics are different, except for the 4WD. And I dont keep my car very long, as soon as the warranty period is up I am gone and that goes for any car I've owned from Lexus, Infiniti, Jeep etc. Seems to have worked out so far.
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 03:09 PM) I was thinking of getting a Jeep if I got this Arizona job. Don't have to worry about it though. I love my JGC, and my wife ADORES her cherokee. We traded in her top of the line CRV for it and there is no comparison.
  14. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 01:15 PM) It's a WEB-DL. Somebody got a Blu-Ray quality stream of it online and ripped it. The movie just came out around a month ago. Rips that good this early are extremely rare. I just got a 1080p torrent of it. Quality is very very good.
  15. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 11:11 AM) Jeep has had issues for decades. They are beautiful looking cars and do 4x4 right but they have horrific and I mean horrific build quality. It been manufactured by several different companies over that time period so something doesnt match up there. My 2011 and 2014 grand cherokee have been my favorite cars ever and this was the first real issue.
  16. Yep. I'm not even on that chart with 105 Mbps
  17. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 07:41 AM) I downloaded Mad Max because that's how I see movies these days. Found a real good rip, surprisingly. Anyway, it's an awesome, demented action flick with great stunts. I was hooked. Nice, its been ripped? Looks like I have something to watch tonight.
  18. The U.S. Men's team needs an Improvement in strength and conditioning. They constantly look out of shape.
  19. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 7, 2015 -> 03:58 PM) 1. You will actually get something back for Sharp 2. I don't know if they have money for Oduya, Kruger, and Sharp http://www.spotrac.com/nhl/chicago-blackhawks/cap/ This is what I've been using. Out of those 3 I would rather lose Oduya to be honest. I think moving Sharp up a line would benefit him tremendously. if you literally give away Bickell and probably Versteeg we have enough room to bring back Sharp, Oduya and Kruger.
  20. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jul 7, 2015 -> 02:23 PM) If Sharp gets dealt to the Panthers, I may never complain about the Rizzo to Cubs deal, because the Hawks seem to conveniently dump all their salaries to Dale Tallon. I dont understand why we feel the need to deal sharp. Get rid of Bickell's salary and we are almost good to go.
  21. f***ing water pump in my car exploded, driving into the dealership everyone knew it before I did. "Known issue." First thing really wrong with my jeep and I am obligated to give another car brand a shot here since I am almost due for a new car.

    QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 6, 2015 -> 06:17 PM)
  24. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jul 6, 2015 -> 11:29 AM) Im in a 16in coed league in Lincoln Park this summer, played against a bunch of douches this past Thursday. We were tied going into the 5th (we only had 4 guys so it was a pleasant suprise for our winless team) but then our defense pretty much just fell apart (dropped balls, girls just not paying attention at all, etc) and gave up 9 runs. During the next inning, this short guy gets a single but then takes off for 2nd because he sees a girl had picked the ball up. He makes it easily of course and I shouted at him from SS to take it easy, you're up by 9 runs no need to take the extra base. The next inning he's up again and points to me before he goes to the plate (he proceeds to hit a grounder to me and I threw him out by 2 feet or so only to have our first basemen drop the throw). Then in the last inning we have our bottom of the order up and they bring in a new pitcher who is now throwing "curve balls", and at this point we are down like 18 runs (we really fell apart the last few innings). I'm competitive but damn douche moves by that team. Yeah you'll see that from time to time. The douche who runs the PSG league started a fight by pushing one of our girls for getting in his way. Better to just laugh at those idiots.
