Now that the kid is here, eventually we'll probably get another SUV (I'll give that to her and take the A6 as my dd) and retire the Pilot strictly for the dogs, since I'm sure my wife won't allow me to drive the baby in it. I've been eyeing up the '16 Q7, but not sure I can convince the wife. She likes those damn Pilots. I like the Audi SUV's it just seems they consistently underpower them. Of course everyone who has kids LOVES that Honda Pilot.

Greg. You can believe me or not. It's not a guess and it was a piece of insider info I posted back then. His agent brought the offer to the Sox, they couldn't match it and he left. His agent believed going to Ozzie would soften the blow. Anything other than that is lies. The Sox wanted him but also owed Mark to let him go to max money. And that's what he got. They could have trashed him on the lack of working with them on the way out but they didn't. They felt he wanted this money before he retired, because that's what his agent presented. Whatever Mark says now is whatever he was fed. The front office honestly had him in there once and it was very early on. The next time was after he signed. The Sox felt that they owed him too much to guilt him into a huge discount. And that's straight from the top. They love his family and this was the best for everyone. I believe this is one of the first nuggets I even brought here because I personally was depressed they couldn't get it done. I initially was told they made a much lower offer but I'm not even sure it made it to Mark.

I'm not guessing here, the threads exist. Marks last comment was dumb as the Sox treated him right. His agent wanted his percentage and reputation.

Man, I just always like new cars. Once they get outdated or start to look worn I get rid of them. Personal preference I guess but I never keep them longer than 3 years, thats my max. My company also somewhat pays for that as well so for me it's just a nice luxury.
