  1. QUOTE (Big Hurtin @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 04:24 PM) Wait, so I don't have to marry a dude? Phew. You also don't have to be in favor of it morally. Shocking, I know.
  2. It's strange to me how many people cannot grasp the difference between the ruling today and the government dictating morals. You still have the right to be a closed minded biggot if you want to.
  3. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 10:35 AM) More for being a dick about it, less about choosing a different school. Trust me, Illinois has lost out on a LOT of guys and there's not the same (or any) animosity towards them. True, Illinois fans always loved Eric Gordon.
  4. Karma for choosing another school of course!!!
  5. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 08:11 AM) I hope Bickell + are long gone before Sharp. He's going to be missed alot more than people think. Plus, I still would like to see the Hawks have insane depth at forward once again. The hawks have fill in's for Sharp in theory though that can generate points. Of course some of that is based on the KHL success but it is what it is.
  6. I wonder where Cliff will go. I would say the Bulls have an inside track but I'm not sure he'd make the roster.
  7. I should add I don't think that's going to happen. I believe he's going to pull the offers on several of the guys he took this month that were two stars and below.
  8. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 06:14 AM) Rivals has Michigan at 6, 247 has them at 7. Can't find anything on scout that is free. Recruiting guys on twitter say Michigan is on a roll. That's all I can go off of. It's simple math. Their avg star ranking is 25th in the country with about 6 ships left. He needs to cut or they will end up outside of the top ten for sure and maybe lower. And that includes getting Gary.
  9. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 26, 2015 -> 05:45 AM) ‏@BPortistime Bulls Nation sorry for the tweets I sent 4 years ago. I was a boy then. I'm a man now. And a Bull. DRose, Pau, what kinda donuts yall like? His backstory is very interesting. Almost Butler esqe
  10. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 08:10 PM) Unless draft express is lying to me, Russell didn't do the athletic testing at the combine. I take those with a grain of salt anyways. It's more than he's not a guy that's regularly going to finish above the rim or blow past people purely on speed. He relies on craft more than athleticism. It's worked for guys like Harden and Curry, but I'm not a smart enough evaluator to know how well things will work for Russell. He has a 40 inch vert with a huge wingspan. He crosses dudes up with quickness. Harden is a pretty good comparison though. Manu as well.
  11. Zoom. What about Russell doesn't appear to be athletic. He tested pretty well. His game pace is what deceives people. Being the entire OSU team offensively hurt him bad against quality opponents but he's still going to be turnover prone for a few years in the NBA. He's not quite a polished PG yet.
  12. I like Kaminsky better than WCS. I hate that pick.
  13. QUOTE (Brian @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 04:17 PM) OSU, MSU, and Michigan now all have top 10 recruiting classes. This is kinda fun. Wish Michigan would be able to compete this year on the field though. Yeah, sheer numbers are skewing that ranking quite a bit. Michigan is going to have to drop some of those 2 star and lower ranked guys if they want a top 15 class.
  14. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 25, 2015 -> 05:29 PM) All I know is if I were the Lakers, I'm taking Russell all day. Looks like he has potential to be a superstar. All this said, Okafor is getting bashed despite having a damn good low post game and just fantastic footwork. I think they see a high floor but a low ceiling with him. In a league run by superstars, everyone wants to take that moon shot.
  15. The offense is the worst in the league and the team doesnt seem to get its own head out of its collective ass. Thats the manager and the hitting coach's jobs right there.
  16. Get Hard is a hell of alot funnier than I thought it would be.
  17. QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 24, 2015 -> 11:32 AM) a really stupid interview. where is the old cliche, men should not brag about that stuff. Sounds like its bad translation in his english.
  18. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jun 23, 2015 -> 04:17 PM) Well somewhat close to 94 always helps since that's my commute route, Willow Run is ok but man is it windy there. And the Marriott is Crane's Landing which has been my go to lately. Highland Park is right where 94 makes that big turn towards the merge with 294. Pretty good track and its on golfnow. Lots of trees but scorable.
  19. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jun 23, 2015 -> 01:54 PM) Any suggestions for N/NW burbs? I've been going to Cranes Landing a bit, decent place and you can get 18 with a cart of about 3$0-35 after work. My dad and I still go to Columbus Park occasionally since we both grew up playing it, I've never had that kind of issue with a packed course like you guys have had. I'll check out Indian Boundary later in the season, used to live real close to it and meant to check it out. Evanston has like a co-op course that's a good deal as well. How far? Up north i used to play Highland Park CC quite a bit and then by your office White Deer run and that Marriott course. Northwest we've been hitting Poplar Creek and Hilldale GC. Eaglewood is a nice easy course in Itasca. Short irons all day but you need to be fairly accurate.
  20. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Jun 23, 2015 -> 01:45 PM) Fulmer? Technically, he's not even in the damn organization. Thats why I said "about to be"
  21. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Jun 23, 2015 -> 01:35 PM) So, that gets us back to where we are now. The Sox are an awful organization. Fear of change nets us nothing. Let's just be stagnant, continue to suck, watch Sale waste his best years until his arm blows up, watch Abreu get old and fat, and watch Q regress back to mean. The Sox are nowhere near contending. They don't have enough impact players on the farm. Our best prospect is a singles machine that can't field his position. They have to do something. Our best prospect is about to be a future top of the rotation pitcher.
