  1. QUOTE (iamshack @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 04:42 PM) From what I understand, Thayer Evans has a pretty lengthy record of going after OK State due to his ties to Oklahoma. I'm not sure who was breaking the story about Ohio State a few years ago, but this guy has somewhat unanimously been portrayed as a hack writer. Jason Whitlock is the only one who claimed all of the above. He claimed he knew him as a hack because they worked together...at the same company....in completely different states. Dohrman (co-author of the Ok st SI article) was heavily involved in the OSU article last year. Manziel, the SEC players in the yahoo article. All small ripples with zero momentum. It's comical to me.
  2. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 11:34 AM) And it started out so good with the house split and blind sides. Now we're left with 3 forgettable players. Horrible people and players. AD is basically just floaters ragging on people who are out of the game. With the racist comments and every good player gone so early, its been a waste of the last few weeks. I hope the casting director is canned.
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 01:36 PM) It's pretty interesting how SI.com is openly recruiting for Oklahoma State. If you come and play football in Stillwater, all these chicks will sleep with you, you don't have to do homework, and you can smoke all the weed you want. Where do I sign? I think its more interesting that this year people are attacking the media and saying kids should be getting paid when last year trading your possessions for tats and money were the worst thing any kid could every do.
  4. Pretty happy the worst season in the history of Big Brother is almost over.
  5. Never once cracked an iphone screen, week 2 with the 5, smashed.
  6. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 10:56 AM) I despise people that get all bent out of shape about little things in softball. I want to win as much as anyone in anything I play but people b**** and complain about the dumbest things. Shut the f*** up and play the game. We lost in the playoffs wednesday and the other team was a huge bunch of douche bags. Plowing over girls who are trying to tag them, screaming when the ball was in the air, just being total a-holes. I'v won alot of titles in that league and it's not that hard to win with class. Apparently this team and the one they faced after us in the title game got into a fist fight over a player they thought shouldnt be eligible to play. f***ing stupid. It's a co-ed softball league fellas, come on.
  7. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Sep 13, 2013 -> 09:45 AM) ASA has a pitchers mat, right? Ya. And there is no "batters box" in most leagues. I walk up to the ball, especially after seeing how the pitcher pitches. If there is a box I stand in the very back corner.
  8. That was so ridiculous seeing Weber in the airport while simultaneously reading the illinois recruiting news.
  9. Good get for Illinois. #mattacoachingtree And it was perfect timing, I'm in DFW and just saw Bruce Weber.
  10. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 11, 2013 -> 05:05 PM) Notre Dame 2012 National Champions!!!! Nah, you still get the loss. Of course nothing will happen here, the coaching staff didnt "knowingly" play ineligible players. Denial>NCAA
  11. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Sep 11, 2013 -> 05:06 PM) I've seen the occasional rumor that Ulis and his camp believe he is a one and done, I would put that as unlikely to happen. Izzo needs him badly, however I'm sure he picks UK.
  12. Yahoo investigative article on SEC players taking illegal benefits. Sure it will go nowhere http://sports.yahoo.com/news/ncaaf--docume...-202513237.html
  13. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 11, 2013 -> 01:40 PM) Of course, because they haven't played anybody good. (Other than Michigan/ND)NW beat Cal, who struggled to beat Portland State. Syracuse isn't very good. Even the Illinois win gets canceled out by Purdue losing by 35 to the same team. Other than that, its MAC and D 2 across the board. Yes, but compared to other conferences thats not "hot garbage." Oregon hasnt played or beaten anyone, USC sucked balls and stanford has only one crappy game. Its like that across pretty much all conferences this early in the season except for maybe 2-3 impact games total. I bet you couldnt guess how many teams in the top 25 have actually only played one "D-1" school so far out of their two games.
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 8, 2013 -> 09:26 PM) Well the Big Ten is hot garbage so that doesn't mean much. To me, "really good" teams are championship contenders which is where we differ. So far this season they've been very good OOC.
  15. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 7, 2013 -> 06:53 PM) Rock, if you ever get to catch a Montini game, do it. Dylan Thompson is insane. Duly noted. I haven't seen him in person yet.
  16. ND's secondary was exposed. You only have to cover one WR and they couldn't. Lane Kiffin is one of the worst if not the worst head coach of a premier program in the country. Fire him now.
  17. QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 6, 2013 -> 03:23 PM) I think smartwatches are going to be a big thing, but Samsung f***ed up by making theirs only compatible with the Note 3, which nobody will buy I disagree, I put them into the people who thought calculator watches were cool category.
  18. QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 6, 2013 -> 12:26 AM) So I have my external drive, any recommendations for free backup software? I'm doing full system backup via windows, but that isn't really a format I can use to access individual files Ah, windows. I use timemachine on my mac, but I'm surprised the hard drive didnt come with some basic stuff
  19. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 6, 2013 -> 12:04 PM) There was a Tuesday night game that didn't end until after midnight due to a rain delay, and I was the entire train after the Austin stop. Classic. The other day the lady next to me put all of her rings back on once we hit ridgeland. I was dying laughing.
  20. QUOTE (chw42 @ Sep 6, 2013 -> 10:56 AM) I've been trying to hit line drives recently and I keep hitting fly balls. Maybe I should just stop trying to hit anything in particular and swing as hard as possible. BTW, played with Ricky Williams yesterday. His range in the OF is ridiculous (almost made a diving catch, LF caught the ball after it bounced off his glove), but he didn't have a great game at the plate. He had one really hard hit single up the middle, the rest were more or less routine grounders. He's also a really chill dude. Unfortunately, we lost by 1. The other team played great defense, blooped the s*** out of us, and we couldn't hit for the first 3 innings. I literally just try to square it up and get my arms extended. Other than that its anyone's guess. I had one to the RF gap and one to LF, next time up i hit the pitcher in the chest.
  21. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 6, 2013 -> 06:40 AM) Green Line after weeknight Sox games can be, um, interesting. That stretch is funny in general. After the Austin stop you can actually hear the entire train breathe a sigh of relief that they werent robbed.
  22. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 5, 2013 -> 07:30 PM) When? Close on the 19th, moving as soon as I can right after. Really excited to get some more space. Luckily the new place only needs paint, cleaning and carpet in one room. That shouldnt take too long.
