White Sox @ Oakland 4.25 game thread 2:35pm

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 06:39 PM) It's quite obvious that Santiago just cannot face right handed hitters. You cannot have that as your closer. Exactly. Like it was predicted by many on here before the season started, he would be good in the loogy role, thats where he belongs. -

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 06:37 PM) Could you imagine Konerko getting to face Santiago? If the screwball is working he may break his bat, if not, Paulie takes him out to the Right field gap. -

On the plus side, our pitching has been unreal outside of the blown save. Starting pitching is exceptional. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 03:53 PM) No one called the regular season a fluke last year. The Bulls are a deep, powerhouse regular season team. Yes, alot of people did, including those on this board.
-
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 01:10 PM) We're in the NBA Finals already? What does that have to do with what I said? Last year their REGULAR season was called a fluke. They then went out and did it again.

QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 01:59 PM) I would agree on those three. Possibly Kane, but I think Stan would have to be blown out of the water for that to happen. And Rock, I can't believe you think Seabrook is that bad. He was the most consistent d-man this year. Was there anything specific you saw? Repeated giveaways every game I watched. Keith had some as well but overall he was much better than Seabrook was all season. I would gladly remove him from the lineup as well as his salary for what he brings to the team.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 01:06 PM) Rayvonte Rice will be a bust at Illinois. He's just another me first player so he should fit in there. He left Drake to try and get to the NBA even though they would have had a real solid team next year with him. Groce wont put up with bulls*** like that. He will however be a featured player as Groce's offense is very guard friendly and he will have the green light to shoot and shoot and shoot. -
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 12:56 PM) Are you serious? yup. I think he's overrated, overpaid and declining. He gives up goals by the bunches. I detest Seabrook.
-
I'd drive Seabrook to the f***ing airport myself if they could unload him.
-
Rios is incredibly predictable if you pay attention, he's been an every other year guy for most of his career. It just so happens he's coming off of a down year and he's producing, again. This is the year to unload him if you can because he will SUCK next season.

Last 10 years in the Big Ten, teams producing the most NFL draft picks. I was REALLY surprised at #2 1. Ohio State: 66 total draft picks 2. Iowa: 42 3. Nebraska: 41 4. Michigan: 40 5. Wisconsin: 39 6. Penn State: 38 7. Purdue: 27 8. Michigan State: 25 9. Illinois: 22 10. Minnesota: 14 11. Northwestern: 13 12. Indiana: 12 -
QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 12:00 PM) I have 16 gigs in mine...memory is SO cheap, I see no reason why people have less than 12 anymore. 8 gigs is around 45$, and even less with rebates...even cheaper if you go generic on the memory, but I don't recommend that. Nah, I am a crucial guy. Its so funny that Apple charges almsot a grand for an 8 gig upgrade, or it could be 16, whatever its ridiculous. Even the most basic computer user can put in memory.

This thread just made me go buy 8 more gigs of RAM for my imac, thanks for reminding me!

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 11:20 AM) Also, what's the best place to buy the parts? Amazon? Newegg? Other? I like going to microcenter, picking out the pieces and then double checking on newegg or amazon.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 10:44 AM) I have two of these at work: http://reviews.cnet.com/lcd-monitors/hp-lp...7-33230410.html Nice. I have 2 sammy's framing my 24 inch imac. Its almost too much, almost.

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 07:10 PM) I don't know if this has been discussed here, but I was just told that Maren, the German Potato Soup girl from P90X, has done some hardcore porn. Her name is Maren Beautte and the videos are not hard to find. While researching, I also found that Tony Horton appeared in a softcore porn film called, Rebecca's Secret. Not sure if he was a "performer" or not. Sorry if this is old news. Yup, just found a gang bang with her in it. Dirty as f***. Wow.

QUOTE (CrimsonWeltall @ Apr 25, 2012 -> 10:18 AM) Same. No problems with Avast here. Yeah, heard good things. Also if you are just gaming and watching netflix could could firewall the s*** out of that thing and never open emails and be pretty ok.
-
I would BYO as well if you have those simple requirements. A Dell is just going to have those rebranded parts marked up, and sometimes they are lesser version of ones you can buy for cheaper (harddrives especially).
-
Safe to say all the comments about the Bulls having the best record and #1 seed being a fluke are disproved?

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 02:13 PM) I'd prefer to not waste any more years with a loaded team in front of a crap goalie. The last two seasons have been completely wasted. Last year wasting our time with Marty Turco's corpse and this year with the revolving door of suck have been inexcusable. Your point was we should give Crawford more time. My point was we've had Crawford for 9 f***ing years, and that's enough time. Technically we do have a developmental goalie "waiting in the wings"
-
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 24, 2012 -> 08:35 AM) He actually wasn't too unreal. He just made every save he should have. The Hawks, for whatever reason, weren't elevating the puck, and when they did they missed the net. Crawford, however, was brutal. LOL, dont let your emotions skew your vision. Smith was the reason they won the game last night. The Hawks should have had at least 2 in the first and then packed it in for the rest of the game. Outside of the first goal, Craw didnt have a chance at the others. Defense was weak, but mostly because we were trying as hard as possible to break out and score. Hot goalies win cups.

His fastball did seem to be popping quite a bit in Seattle.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 23, 2012 -> 02:54 PM) More good news for the Saints. GM Mickey Loomis has been accused of eavesdropping on opposing coaching staffs in the Superdome from 2002-2004. 12-12 at home those seasons. You would think it would help out a little more than that. Since they've probably destroyed any evidence I bet nothing comes of this.

I havent read the books, but I get the feeling Rob Stark isnt long for this story anyway.
