QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 10:04 AM) You taking one and a half servings of that per? It only has 25g of protein, you should be getting 40 per shake.

Maybe we can turn this into a summer grill recipe thread eventually, but I have some questions for the guys who own grills: I have 2 decks so I have a cheap, crappy charbroil on my roof deck since its exposed to the elements and I dont care about it. Because of my experience with it, I know now that on the deck outside my unit, I want a grill that will cook much more consistently and will last longer. Currently I have a 6 year old portable coleman unit on there that is great for tailgating but sucks as a primary grill (cast iron grill plate instead of open flame). The question is what kind of grill do you have and how much do you like it? I am on the fence about buying a new Weber Q 320 (my deck is about 50 inches wide) but the price point (330) seems high to a guy that has been buying crappy gas grills that rust out every 3-4 years. I cook primarily fish, steaks, veggies, burgers, sausages. I would like to expand into other areas like flatbreads and pizzas as well as whole chickens and anything else I can come up with.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 12:16 PM) Ive had my PS3 for over 5 years. So when I made the original choice between PS3 and Xbox, I added in 5 years of online use to the cost. Im not sure who wouldnt do something like that.Im not projecting out, Im talking about money that I have already saved. At 7 years (2 years from now) the money saved on PS3 free online will have almost bought the machine itself. All the people I know who were xbox 360 users have since converted over to PS3. I think its a great system and I am glad I made that choice, especially with the blu-ray market ousting the HDDVD.

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 11:23 AM) Regular Season Ranks for least penalties against. Chicago Blackhawks - 1st Vancouver Canucks - 24th Maybe if their team played a more disciplined game, they wouldn't see the discrepancy. It's been proven over 88 games now that the Canucks take a lot of penalties and the Blackhawks do not. They had 200 more PIM than the hawks this season. Almost a thousand. I also thought it was funny Gillis used the 10 min misconduct penalties for his "stats"

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 10:47 AM) Jay Zawaski - Can someone tell Mike Gillis that penalties are called as they're commited? Maybe if your team wasn't a bunch of sackless goons, your team would be out of the box. It amazes me that a fanbase of a non-winning expansion team can be such a crazy bunch of idiots. Dont worry, they know more hockey than the whole city of chicago.

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Apr 23, 2011 -> 08:34 PM) I think a lot of schools would steer clear of someone who spent 3 years in jail. You'd be surprised. Illinois has a player that spent 5 years in jail after robbing a bank -

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 09:55 PM) OK guys, let's cut the Luongo is a choker talk and how we are in his head, etc. and discuss technical aspects of Game Seven. What do you see as technically the key to the Hawks winning? Vancouver is going to be fired up beyond belief, probably even moreso than the Hawks, since Vancouver is the One Seed and THIS IS IT for them. It's on their home ice where the Hawks flattened them, 5-0. Is it all on our goalie? To have the first period of his life? I fully expect the Canucks to pepper him with five or more picture-perfect shots that have a reasonable chance of going in, during the all-important first period. I'm saying they'll have more than five shots, of course, but at least five that could beat Crawford on a given night. Can Crawford play the game of his life? Yes, I'm putting it all on Crawford, cause I feel the Canucks are going to out play the Hawks big time in period No. One. Percentage wise, what chance do you give Chicago of winning? 30? 70? What?? Dont take any stupid penalties. The refs will probably be calling the game tight after Gillis's comments. Matchups are key. We have the first change so the Canucks are going to put the Sedins on against our worst defensive line all game. Need to make quick shift changes and the D has to step up. We also need to keep clogging the neutral zone and the space in front of our net to make the Sedins cycle game continue to be ineffective. Our breakouts will be crucial and our transition play has to be clean.

Gillis just called out the refs in his press conference. http://www.teamradio.ca/wp-content/uploads...officiating.mp3 Calls Scott "A goon, who only does one thing, punches guys in the face." "If the game was conducted properly we win because we have the better team."

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 04:29 PM) It was posted on the bucknuts pay forum by one of the main writers and later taken down. Some of it has popped up on the purdue pay forum and IUs. Like I said, sounds like the story won't break yet, and its all speculation that its OSU. Regardless, sounds bad for whoever it is. I googled, looks like it started on a PSU forum. Point shaving is usually just one kid, as evidenced by Toledo a year or so ago. Maybe someone got confused with SDSU. Yeah, still cant find anything anywhere, I saw it may have started by Bukibill's post on Bucknuts, that guy is a grade A turdbag. I am however hearing that Tressel will be stepping down as coach sooner rather than later and that they are already discussing his successor. -

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 04:20 PM) this is about the basketball program... and the rumors are about point shaving, and a lot of it. We'll see what comes of it, but the ESPN guys have been talking about a huge story in the works for a while. I dont see that anywhere, care to point me in the right direction? -

QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 04:15 PM) Also, rumors on many premium rivals forums (including bucknuts, but was since taken down) that Ohio States basketball program is about to get busted. According to the writers, on a scale of 1-10 of how bad the violations are, it is said to be a 10. These rumors about a BIG finding that would be happening in spring/summer are starting to come out... Doesn't look good for OSU. Well technically the football findings showed that the University was not at fault for the compliance violations so most of the penalties if any are going to be directed at Tressel. -
Schneider was clearly grabbing his leg before that play and then probably just strained the hell out of it on that move. And I loved the Buff-esque celebration by Frolik.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 03:18 PM) The Blackhawks have had 12 more power plays in the series than Vancouver. The next largest discrepancy in a playoff series this year is 5. In no way does that make Nucks fans understand how dirty their team is, not even the season long discrepancy in penalties vs the Hawks. Its 100% because Canadian teams dont bring enough revenue to the NHL.

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 01:02 PM) http://www.twitvid.com/SEP9M This is pretty funny. I'm betting 99% of those are about how the refs screwed them.

QUOTE (Andrew @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 02:37 PM) I don't see how. This isn't football when you can just cut someone who isn't playing satisfactorily. These guys have guaranteed contracts and if you're going to talk about "meaningful" than names like Beckham and Viciedo and Vizquel and Teahen better not be uttered next... But whatever - move some silly pieces around and willfully ignore the fact that no matter what the roster turn over, we go through ENTIRE TEAM slumps, get baffled by rookie pitchers, and it's always too cold in April-June to hit the f***ing ball consistently for now the 5th year in a row. - Walker is first to show/last to leave - "Small ball" our way to an inspired team - Players play, not coaches blahblahblah... In the name of the Kenny, the Ozzie, and the Walker......Allin. You have to sit down and determine if you have the right amount of talent in place. I think we can all agree this team can win the central. Next what pieces can you change up to possibly change the team dynamic. It has to be a coach or the manager.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 01:37 PM) The most important part here... Tressel knew exactly what he was doing. All of that homer crap about not knowing, or it being an accident is a giant load. He's as crooked as anyone else. Duh, which is why they self reported that he lied. If they are considered a repeat offender because of bball they could be in some serious trouble. If not, the suspension may stand. Basically no new information. Crooked as anyone else is very subjective. Paying for players, personally giving out benefits and contributing to the death of a employee could be considered worse than not reporting players selling their own property. Either way, I've heard much worse rumors than anyone has reported yet. And its involving the players. -
Ben smith is a he'll of a player even outside of the goals. He is good with the puck and has great positioning skills

QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 11:47 AM) Indeed...and I know you're one of the last posters to ever suggest change. As an owner and gm, you just injected 20 million dollars more into a team with the same results so far. The next step is management changes, and whether that's Ozzie or one of his crew, it has to happen.

You gotta make a change of some kind at this point

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 25, 2011 -> 11:35 AM) Can you imagine being in Vancouver front office position right now? The face of their franchise got benched for Game 6 of the playoffs opening round. What do they do with Luongo in the off-season. Almost you have to move one of him or the head coach. And the highest paid player in the NHL. I couldn't believe they did that, and now schneider has no groin.
