  1. Wow, I thought the put back in the first half was crazy.
  2. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 08:43 PM) I could almost see him in a Jamal Crawfod role. If he's hot let him shoot, if not, you won't see much of him. He's stronger and penetrates better than Crawford though, I think he can be a good backup PG at times.
  3. QUOTE (danman31 @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 08:40 PM) You guys are crazy if you don't think Jimmer is a pro. If he doesn't take these big shots, the team isn't in the game at all. He's more than just a shooter. He can drive to the basket and either finish or get assists. He may not be a great pro, but he's certainly a very useful pro. Also, there's nothing worse losing a bet where you take the underdog, they go to OT and then don't cover the spread in OT. I think he's a good pro, a 1/2 guard like Heinrich but a much better scorer.
  4. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 08:38 PM) Killed them after he tied the score at 63 Thus living and dying. BYU just isnt good enough if he isnt hitting his shots.
  5. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 08:22 PM) Okay, I'll throw this out there and I'm not sure if any of you can help me or not... any of you ever use your andriod to hook up to an owa (outlook web access) application and it actually work? I cannot find a damn piece of software for the phone that actually works on my phone. The IT guy isn't seeing any settings on the exchange server that would block it. We can't directly hook up to th exchange server because our IT f***ers in Canada won't let us, but I was trying the work around using the owa (browser) site. Do they have a proxy or web server set up for mobile devices? Do you have a webmail login for exchange? Usually that is the server that I use at work, I use my webmail credentials and the webmail server.
  6. You live by the Jimmer and die by the Jimmer. He killed them in OT.
  7. QUOTE (PeavyTime @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 07:19 PM) LMAO at the Cubs fans waving the W flags and going nuts after the win Lets be honest, they arent going to see many wins this season, might as well revel in the few they will have.
  8. I still cant believe Florida is a #2 seed.
  9. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 05:42 PM) I think his K's might go up in the AL, don't you? Different league, more breaking balls, adjusting to DH. nope
  10. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 05:38 PM) Rios looks so good. Yeah, real good at bats this game. Morel also has looked good.
  11. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 05:36 PM) over/under on Dunn strikeout total this season? 200? Probably the same its been every other year. And the Sox are seeing the ball very well for the most part, a few on the screws right to fielders, some barely missed. Looks good.
  12. Cubs fans were universally happy when Kerry Wood left, now he's "one of the most popular players to ever wear a Cubs uniform?" Uh, ok.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 03:09 PM) Is he class of 2012 or 13? I believe its 2012, and will Crean still be there by the time these guys develop?
  14. QUOTE (He_Gawn @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 02:41 PM) As predicted consensus top 40 player Jeremy Hollowell (4 star on rivals, 5 star on scout) picks Indiana. Crean had 12 visitors at the IU/UM football game back in November. He tried to sell them on being a family, playing together, and bringing Indiana basketball back to where it once was... Right now, 11 of those kids have committed, and we are waiting on one more in Gary Harris. Unreal. Good group of talent assembling down there, Purdue has to be extremely nervous about their future.
  15. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 01:37 PM) I told you. The only thing I liked about firefox was the plugin noscript, but the fact that firefox takes up hundreds of megs of memory is annoying. Chrome has plugins now, too, but they aren't as mature as firefox's...yet. Chrome is faster and more memory efficient, and every tab is its own process, so if that tab crashes, everything else is fine. Chrome also sandboxes plugins into their own process, too, so they also can't crash the entire browser. Reeeeaaally? I wasnt impressed with my first go-round of Chrome, but the memory thing is a big plus. Firefox's only downfall. With just this page open its taking over 400mb of memory
  16. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 12:53 PM) Buying bottled tap water that may be subject to even less regulations than municipal water is still a dumb idea. But I really do shake my head at people who buy case after case of bottled water even though they get Lake Michigan water at home. We are so spoiled by our water. I lived in an area of southern ohio where sediment floating in tap water was the norm.
  17. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 12:26 PM) You're crazy. That game will be within 5 points either way for sure. You're crazy....jerk
  18. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 11:55 AM) Right click the orange 'firefox' box in the upper left corner, select options, uncheck 'tabs on top'. For the buttons do the same but go into 'toolbar layout' in options. I dont have that orange box, is that a PC only feature? Nevermind
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 10:52 AM) It's boneriffic. help me out here. I dont like that the buttons and tabs have been moved, can I move them back?
  20. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 10:50 AM) And really, the eating little s*** during the day vs MEALS really just turns your metabolism into a motherf***ing monster. Yup. I also think that a sensible dinner not completely stacked with carbs and starches can go a long way towards losing weight.
  21. I was going to say, usually a plateau is due to diet or you just repeating workouts day in and day out. You need to change it up to force your body to change.
  22. QUOTE (jasonxctf @ Mar 24, 2011 -> 09:56 AM) back to the subject at hand. I would argue, that Gov Quinn did a good job looking out for the interests of the Illinois small business community. These small businesses who are retail fronts, (brick and mortar) were getting killed by online giants such as Amazon and Overstock who were getting away with not charging sales tax. A laptop computer that was priced at $899 pre-tax at both online and retail stores, ended up costing Illinois consumers $65 extra dollars if they chose to shop locally rather than with a national online re-seller. Take it out a few steps, this hurts the local re-seller who employs local workers. It effects his ability to pay his landlord and effects the local commercial real estate market too. Not to mention the local re-seller's employees and their impact on the economy. How many small business are truly competing with big box online retailers?
  23. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Mar 22, 2011 -> 02:26 PM) Why do people buy cases of water...when you can buy a cheap water filter and save all the plastic. Have you lived anywhere outside of Chicago? There are truly places in this country where filters wont do anything to make the water taste better. We are truly spoiled here.
  24. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 23, 2011 -> 11:15 PM) No f***ing s*** we want him to get healthy. But let's post some news of essence. I come to this thread to get legitimate updates. This is all crap right now. What's next? Peavy takes a dump without experiencing any soreness? Yeah, that post really contributed alot more value than quotes from the doctor, trainer, Peavy and the White Sox staff.
