  1. someone ( I think Rick Sutcliffe?) called one of those bullpens circa 2007ish the best he had ever seen ....and it was horrible . Like Andy Sisco, mike macdougal , boone logan etc
  2. I still am confident in hendricks and Kimbrel (though I may be in minority on Kimbrel). But the next arms out of pen should be tepera and crochet instead of kopech and bummer. That said Kopech upside is still big, lets not forget hes basically still a rookie
  3. This is hard to believe. I mean - if only this had just happened recently so we could have learned from it
  4. Wait. Why are we acting like Craig kimbrel has been Jon raunch and Aaron bummer has been peak damaso marte
  5. This game doesn’t matter much. But you get kimbrel for this. This is overthinking and bad managing and will cost us in october
  6. Walk winning run into scoring position ? Wow I’d like to see the numbers behind rhat
  7. All of this because we didn’t trust Kimbrel against Brandon Lowe ????
  8. If only we had a righty or two or three in the pen who can get a K here ….
  9. So who leaves the 26 man? Mendick back to AAA I presume
  10. Couple win player the last few years. Minor upgrade. Hopefully we didn’t give up much. I think won GG last year right?
  11. You can’t let bummer pitch to Cruz
  12. Bummers numbers are way better than he has pitched
  13. Perfect throw which got him comfortably. A good throw prolly gets him narrowly. average throw bang bang. Bad throw safe
  14. Perfect throw. Nicely played by arraez. I’m ok taking a shot there
  15. Bad pitch call, worse execution. Polanco was sittin dead red whole at bat and then be grooved it
  16. Also big credit to him- he never threw a change up like he did tonight. Was basically fastball slider only before this year. Toyed with the Cooper cutter for a while but that was bad. Even spun a decent curveball or two
  17. I was critical of his usage out of the pen last year down the stretch. Asking him to do something he had never done in high leverage situations coming back from injury. Was also critical of his weight last year as he was noticeably heavier. All credit to Carlos to righting the ship and getting back. Easy to say now retrospect but signing him for 3 mil was a tremendous sign - big upside low risk.
  18. Nick Williams set up reminds me way too much of nomar mazara
