  1. QUOTE (2nd_city_saint787 @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 11:30 AM) The whole not 1, not 2, not 3, etc etc is still far more annoying to me then the Howard drama. The less the Heat win the happier I'll be. this^^^^
  2. so ubaldo loads up the bases with two outs and who comes to bat? 38 yr old hideki matsui and his .165 avg. of course he strikes out, just as useless as fukudome was *sigh*
  3. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 11:12 AM) This superteams trend sucks for the NBA and their fans, pretty soon they'll be 4 or 5 really stacked teams and a bunch of overmatched teams. So much for parity. good luck to drose trying to win anything here
  4. saw that dwight is ready to commit to an extension with the lakers, so assuming he goes to la(would be awesome): lebron/wade/bosh or kobe/dwight/gasol/nash?
  5. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 12:38 AM) That's bulls***, IMO. For how much umpires are expected to do and see, they do an incredible job at the major league level. ill respectfully diasgree and leave it at that.unlike other people, i dont like to argue for the fun of it
  6. QUOTE (knightni @ Jul 19, 2012 -> 01:11 AM) It was a bit of humor. Sorry for the confusion. He's a super talent who got into his sport at a young age, works his ass off, yet many people dislike him. General comparison. he brought that upon himself. just compare him to trout for example, complete opposites. like with the whole ozzie thing. im not on ozzies side or anything but look how harper handled that situation. he couldnt just switch bats and just play? nope, had to be a jerk and show ozzie up. but ill leave it at that. either u like him or u dont and i dont and im looking forward to them losing in the playoffs and im sure they will
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 10:14 PM) I'm sure we'll never know the whole story. True.theres always two different sides to a story
  8. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 09:54 PM) I'd like to see the Nats trade for Denard Span. If they can find a way to keep Strasburg fresh for the postseason, there is no team with a better 1-2-3 in the postseason than they have with Strasburg, Gio and Zimmerman. so with what rizzo did to the sox, you want them to win?
  9. watching mlb network, they were showing the royals/mariners game. the royals threw the ball home and the ump called the runner out, he was safe by a lot and he was right there. its incredible how bad refs and umps have been
  10. i dont like the nats because of rizzo and harper. hes going to be really good, but i cant stand him already
  11. QUOTE (Caesar @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 07:33 PM) This one is over. This kid is brutal. well with axelrod, humber, hernandez and quintana pitching in this series, atleast we won one. maybe get the win tomarrow hopefully. didnt expect much more than 1, 2 wins tops this series
  12. 2ip 4 er is not good, his stuff doesnt look good
  13. QUOTE (RZZZA @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 07:18 PM) Go figure man, we have Dylan and Pedro on the bump and it's two low scoring games. not for long. hernandez doesnt look impressive at all
  14. these last two pages were hilarious (.i dont know who to side with)
  15. QUOTE (ROC Sox Fan @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 04:01 PM) Going to watch Charlotte tonight take on the Minor League Yankees, I wonder what's even left down there? Besides Dan Johnson. conor jackson...dallas mcpherson
  16. sale. 11 wins,8-0 in 10 games following a sox loss
  17. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 02:38 PM) fWAR says McCutchen and Trout. they both should win the mvp.
  18. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 01:47 PM) The Sox are scouting Sanchez and Johnson as well johnson has started over 30 games just once in his career and makes 13.5 mil next year, pass
  19. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 02:10 PM) I keep seeing on ESPN thatt the Lakers and Magic are trying to make a deal and the only thing stopping it is Howard not wanting to sign an extension. That proves Howard is flaky and not serious about winning, isn't the Lakers the top organization for elite players to join if they want to be in a top contender? You know they will spend to get top talent and there really isn't a negative joining LA? Can someone explain why he wouldn't want to be a Laker??? Brooklyn Nets, really?? SMH... i would think that he wants to go somewhere where he's the biggest star and that wouldnt happen in la or chicago. clearly it isnt all about winning for him even though he says so
  20. dont see where crawford would play(once stanton comes back) since they have morisson and stanton in lf/rf
  21. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 12:05 PM) That is totally insane. 21.6 mil a year for six years, seems right to me, with what other pitchers are getting and hes legit. i think its going to take more than that
  22. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jul 18, 2012 -> 12:58 PM) What the f***? How is that even possible. Why would Miami do that? Crawford's contract is a monstrosity. also bell blows and hanley hasnt been too good this yr and last yr....odd trade scenario
