Teahen can play a little 3B, 1B, and corner OF and can be a LH DH. Both Viciedo and Teahen hit better than Kotsay. Defensively, Kotsay doesn't play OF anymore and can only play 1B. I know he's a clubhouse favorite and a great guy, but just as the Red Sox DFA'd him last season, so the White Sox should when Teahen comes back. If they don't, it's just another case of Ozzie falling in love with a bench player and playing favorites as he seems to do with someone every year.
