Because at the end if the season they don't care about Garcias performance. It's the star players that need to be ready at the end if the season and playoffs. Besides it's the mental break even more than physical.

True. I was referring to the current situation not a rebuilding situation. Those are totally different roles. We'll see how all of his weird lineups change the look of the team at the end of the season and playoffs. If the team is ready at the end of the year and plays well in the post season, I'll live with it because with this team that is all that matters. Right now it is looking really weird.

I think the outfield is more that Vaughn played 2 games yesterday and Jimenez is still too sore to play.

A good manager is supposed to put his team in the best position to make the post season. Individual Hames are not the focus in a 162 game season, especially a condensed one with a shortened Spring training. That being said these are some odd lineups.

Always been his philosophy. Give the bench ayers regular time to keep them sharp and rest the regulars frequently to keep them sharp.

That was my thought. They way the regulars played they should be on the bench.
