  1. Or the Angels. They bring all the first round ones up really early.
  2. It really only counts for young players to get a role and start off well. And of course to get ready for the season without injuries. Which isnt easy as we've seen.
  3. Hit a homerun near that light pole in left field while on my honeymoon. We stayed in Galena in the same b and b Kevin Costner did when he filmed the movie.
  4. Last I heard the old MHI in Tinley was bought by Top Golf
  5. Against TCU. Not a bad team.
  6. It always counts. Ammo for family gatherings.
  7. Stuff today is more about tunneling and shape as opposed to just velocity.
  8. I agree they won't play in indiana. Not sure what the bears owe as the big difference is the bears are a tennant of the city. Most private businesses either own or rent from other private businesses. The bears dont generate as much tax as they dont own the stadium and the city takes the tax from the revenue the bears generate from being a Tennant. If the bears owned the stadium the city/state would get that revenue as well.
  9. Only 3-5? An improvement over the last couple of years. 😁
  10. I like it. That would solve many issues for both.
  11. So the big problem the bears caused was not to trust the politicians to be fair with the certainty of property tax? That sounds like the politicians are the issue not the bears. When the tax bill went from 3 million for an operational race track to 16 million for an empty lot, im going with the politicians are the issue.
  12. Its getting the players that are going to the WBC in the lineup early
  13. How are they trying to extort money? From what I've read its chicago trying to extort the money from the Bears to pay down the city's debt on the stadium.
  14. That would be great if they can do that and keep it under an 800 meter walk or so.
  15. I don't think it will be easier to get to. The Metra drops us off right at Soldier Field. Unless they add a southshore stop there.
  16. Kind of like John's Hopkins
  17. Its a new world though. Guys like Roch never used to make it to college. Now colleges can pay more than players can make in the draft unless they are really high draft picks. With the transfer portal many can bounce around as free agents and do pretty well.
  18. Interesting. Like all plays in the NFL called by the coaches not the QB like in the 80s
  19. Could be. As i heard the MLBPA were the ones to purposely leak it to replace Clark. Could be the source of it came from the owners.
  20. Ive used it for a literature search and it had articles in my name that I didn't write. Good for ideas but many other AI for specific purposes.
  21. Rumors have it the the MLBPA considered Clark would not be strong enough against the owners this time around. So some leaked the info to get him out before the negotiations really get started.
