  1. I realize what you are saying but it's is exactly what you said, a proposal. Just like the discussion with the Baltimore fans, this will be a negotiation. What was put out there was JR initial proposal which is the pie in the sky proposal that he knows won't get approved. The detractors of the projects are hyping it up to make it look bad. If it's approved it won't look like this and even he knows it. It's the beginning of negotiations.

I thought the article was that he had it and was doing rehab. Was there a subsequent article? The previous one said he had surgery to relieve a nerve compression.
  3. I disagree with that. In small towns everyone knows everyone and everything. They just take care of it themselves and get them out of office quickly. Having only lived in small towns, I see it repeated constantly. If they stay in office they are doing enough good for the town.

The difference is, the team doesn't need to win for me to enjoy a game. Granted it's more fun when they win.

Mediocrity is a very generous word for this team. Sucks is probably better.
  6. Thinking 4th dimensionality, I wonder if the purchase of the Arlington heights property was the bluff to get the ISFA money but the Sox sudden plans have screwed them.

It is a dead virus now so it could work.
  8. Everyone wants to do it with the Sox with a new GM and second year coach. Mayo has been with the organization longer than that.

Perhaps one should get a vaccine. Of course a vaccine is just a dead version of the virus so either way it's there.
  10. He is very transparent which most people say they want but get really mad when people are.
  11. What makes you think she wants to be involved. I've never seen anything that she was interested in owning a sports team. Contrary to popular opinion not all billionaires are alike.

Thus would be a good way to work on his starter prep routine while keeping the innings in check. As the starter for one or two innings.

Exactly, so if they hope that's the case it means it's close enough and his rehab has progressed enough that they can start looking at a prognosis. So even if it doesn't happen by then they know they are close. They don't mean that they hope he will ever throw again, uts a timeline.

Not necessarily. I'm sure they about the surgery and if he is hoping to be ready for opening day, he must be pretty far along in his rehab so they have a good idea about his recovery. You really do hate everything about this team, don't you.

Nerve decompression on the shoulder not a common one. Probably suprascapular nerve. That will be interesting to watch.
  18. That would be but I bet it's a 2 round at best.
  19. Yeah, but Illinois has the record for the most Governors sent to prison. Illinois takes it to the next level compared to other governments.
  20. I agree. That was a great experience to be part of. Probably the best non-post season experience for me. The fog bowl was a good one too as I was near the goal post when butler hit it but we couldn't see if it went in.
  21. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. This is Illinois so we'll see who pays for the most votes.
