QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 05:04 PM) Im buying it on PPV, you gonna wear anything I should look for or make any crazy signs? No, no crazy signs. I had great seats, right on the 50 yd line. that Shawn/Taker match was unbelievable. QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Mar 24, 2010 -> 06:17 PM) Have fun man, I was at WM 13. Not the most memorable Mania but it had probably my favorite match of all time (Hart/Austin). This years should be good. Also, I'd like to know how a Dragon Gate show is. I keep seeing that they run shows at the Congress Theatre every now & then. Dragon Gate's main event 6-man and the Tommy Dreamer match were great - the rest was kinda average. Lotsof lucha-style high spots. It was a concert venue tho - not great for a wrestling show. And it was FAR from sold out. Went to the Sox game so I missed the ROH show that day.

Hawks national anthem... Disrespectful?
longshot7 replied to southsider2k5's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I think they should get rid of the anthem before all sporting events. There's so much goddamn forced patriotism in this country............ -
Going to the game today - excited!!!

Got my Mania ticket a few days ago..... couldn't believe they were still available on TM. Could've even been 5 rows from the ring had I wanted to drop the $750. As it stands, I'm in the Club Level, row 2, at the 50-yd line. And I'm going to the Dragon Gate show on Sat - wanted to go to the ROH show but I'm opting for the Sox instead in Tucson. anyone else going?

QUOTE (docsox24 @ Mar 22, 2010 -> 12:23 PM) Probably nothing too suprising here but this is what I am told the lineup would look like if opening day were today: Pierre - LF Beckham - 2b Quentin - RF Konerko - 1b Rios - CF AJ - C Jones - DH Teahan - 3b Ramirez - SS Not to beat a dead horse, but teaHEN. Thank you.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 10, 2010 -> 07:10 AM) I still dont understand why they are pre-taping impact. If they are going head to head with RAW, it is honestly the stupidest thing they could possibly do right now. We just read the entire show spoilers. It is going to let people decide a week ahead of time whether they want to tune in or not, and if the show is bad people wont tune in "to see what happens". I disagree. People are going to read that Styles v Hardy is the main event and that will make them tune in, regardless of who the winner is. That's the ROH model and it works for them. also..... not everyone reads the spoilers - there's a lot that don't.

Impact was the better show last night, but not by much. Both shows had some boring, stupid stuff on them.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Mar 5, 2010 -> 02:48 PM) I recently watched Inherit The Wind. I'm really getting into these older movies, and I'd have to say that Spencer Tracy is my favorite non-current actor. Cool. Mine is Fred Astaire.

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Mar 4, 2010 -> 12:59 PM) If it all connects, how come Jin in the future cannot speak English when the Jin in the past can? English-speaking Jin is in 2007. Non English-speaking Jin is in 2004.

QUOTE (ChWRoCk2 @ Mar 5, 2010 -> 02:21 PM) I have not heard or seen anything that indicates Green Bay will be making any major moves this off season, not particularly surprised. I'm hoping they sign an OL at the least, I don't know how much I can trust a rookie coming out of the draft moving right into the starting spot. I have read Clifton and Tauschner are top priorities, I would like both back for a reasonable price but I don't really mind if both leave since they struggled to stay healthy last season and Clifton wants I hear 3 years 20 million, ripoff imo. Have like 15 million in cap room to spend but the Packers don't have a history of bringing in many free agents. Ted Thompson seems to like relying on the draft to improve the team, done fairly well I suppose since he took over as GM (Rodgers, Collins, Hawk, Poppinga, Jolly, Jennings, Matthews and Finley), this is since 2005, I might be missing some relevant names. Still a good defense, especially given this was the first year in a 3-4 and everyone says it takes an adjustment period to get used to. Just couldn't stop the Cardinals spread offense, no pressure was really applied on Warner and our secondary was way too thin after Bigby's injury and Warner took advantage. Outside of Tramon, Woodson and Collins we did not have anyone in the secondary to cover all of their receivers and Chillar is the only above avg pass coverage LB we have imo. Not a fluke, I'm not surprsied after looking back that the Cardinals scored so easily given how thin Green Bay was on defense at the end of the season. I seriously doubt you'll see GB get in on any big FA ever because of their horrible ownership situation. Just my .02

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 22, 2010 -> 03:23 PM) I also think the broken leg angle allows McMahon to once again accept the match, since it will be against a hobbled Bret Hart. longshot, I dont see how you can NOT see a Hart/McMahon faceoff at this point. Oh I believe they might have a match or faceoff or whatever. I just don't believe And the Cole vs the internet thing from NXT might be half-work/half-shoot but at least we've got Mathews there to balance it out, telling us how great Bryan is. And that match was TERRIFIC.

QUOTE (chunk23 @ Feb 24, 2010 -> 11:19 PM) And now the Sox are slated to go into the season with a bad offense. I disagree. I'm not worried.
