No one cares that he is LAST in the majors among everyday players in extra-base hits because he steals bases. I love having him on the team but I hate listening to people overrate him while bashing our other players who go out and play just as hard and have meant just as much to this teams incredible first half. The amusing thing is the reality with this team is our offense has still be driven by HOMERUNS. Our aggressive and smart play has made the team as a whole good at manufacturing runs, but we simply do not string hits together. The offense is still very weak when we don't hit the ball out of the yard. Great post.

Since this thread won't die, I'll give my answer. No, I'm not pissed. In fact, Scotty probably had a better All Star experience than anyone else in the game considering what occured to punch his ticket to Detroit.

We don't even know if the guy will take the field this year, let alone be called up. This sounds a lot like the Escobar signing last year.

Hawk is one of a kind and I appreciate him. He is the definitive voice of the White Sox. I don't see how a Sox fan can not like him.

But I'll always take any reasonable opportunity to see a ML ballgame.

I'm looking for a couple of lower bowl tickets from Sunday, August 21 vs the Yankees. The Sunday game is my preference, but I'd also be willing to take some for Friday the 19th.
