    You Bastards

Partly cloudy with a high of 47 here today. Not too shabby.

Aren't Eddie Munster and Angus Young the same person?
  3. Now you are the type of White Sox fan Reinsdorf can appreciate.
  4. No way. I can see it now. ARod steps up the plate at Wrigley with Wood on the mound. Wood blows two fastballs right by him. ARod steps out and says "That's only two." Then he points to the center field bleachers .... One question for you though. How does the NL has 3 teams that can beat the Yankees and the AL has none?
  5. Damn. He quoted me before I corrected my typo.
  6. Thank you. ...... ummmm.... Which language?
  7. Wow! That's all I can think of to say at this point.
  8. The thing is, I liked Kessinger and Doby, though I didn't care for the results. Gutteridge, on the other hand, was horrible.
  9. No way was Manuel the worst. In fact, he didn't do a bad job over the course of his tenure. It was just time for him to go. The players had stopped responding and everything he tried to do seemed to backfire on him. Manuel is only one of four Sox managers in my lifetime to actually finish in first place. Lopez, LaRussa, Lamont and Jerry. Hmmmm ... maybe we should go back to managers who's last name begins with "L".
  10. Hi cwsox. How goes it? I'd have to agree on Bevington and Richards. I'd also have to add Don Gutteridge to the equation. Neither Kessinger, nor Doby fared to well either.
  11. I recall seeing a "Who was Jack" type show a few years ago to where they came to the conclusion that Jack might have actually been a member of the royal family.

Does anyone know in which state Green Acres and/or Petticoat Junction was set?
  13. I'll say this much. I just missed the draft lottery by virtue of my age. However, if I could have legally done something to avoid the draft, I would have done it. They sent those guys to Viet Nam to fight but not to win. JFK and LBJ and RMN were the real traitors.

    Rod Stewart

I've seen him before and he was damn good. Of course, that was in '74 or '75.
  15. This is one situation the President should take a personal interest in and get it stopped. He is the commander in chief, and every officer who neglected their duty or tried to cover any of these crimes up, answers to Bush. As Harry S. Truman used to say, "The buck stops here."
  16. At least he'll have his s*** together.
  17. Even worse, he probably would have just totally sucked.
  18. Burkett would just be another question mark to add to the many question marks we have competing for starting pitching roles.
  19. Steff is right. Colon pitched 242 innings and we don't know who is going to pitch those innings for the 2004 Sox. SSI is right. Last year at this time we had Colon, Buehrle, Garland and question marks for a starting rotation. This year we have a different 20 game winner in Loaiza, with Buehrle, Garland and a bunch of question marks for our rotation. Ever the diplomat.
  20. LMAO. I'll keep that in mind.
  21. Thank you. That seems to make sense to me. By tagging up, the player would certainly be following the puck into the zone.
