Basically, he's saying that Evans HAS to do something big. His previous trades have not worked for him and if doesn't have Maggs or Nomar on hand when McCourt buys the team, then he's screwed. I like it!
Hmmm ... Having pissed of fans in Dallas, Boston, Chicago and Los Angeles. Hey, that's better than normal. Besides, if the fans in New York are happy, then there is no problem.
There is no way of knowing how all this will turn out. I just hope that when Opening Day (Capitalized because it is a Holiday!) rolls around, that we have a good complete cohesive team that can win the division and do some serious damage in the post season.
