When the whole team was going bad, early, that is one thing I noticed. Carlos seemed to be trying to pull the team out of it's funk by busting his ass whenever the opportunity presented itself.

That'll be just about the time we are burying them for good.

Well yeah that's been their major problem all year scoring runs, but they have won 10 out of their last 12 games I think, and they r starting to score some runs. Edwin Jackson debued and beat Randy Johnson, not too many guys can say they've done that. Since their fired their hitting coach, even guys like Beltre r starting to hit. Gagne deserves Cy Young if they make da postseason. Don't get me wrong. I certainly respect that team. Especially that lefthanded hitting third baseman they have .... his name escapes me at the moment.

If they get confidence by teeing of on a guy who was in for mop up purposes only, and his 1st ML appearance this season, they are in for a shock. Garland is gonna shut 'em down and Marte, Gordon and company will keep them down.

I have had increasing confidence on Jon Garland as the year went along. I think those quick hooks by JM has made JG realize he has to focus at all times. He's really been pitching well lately. C'mon JonnyG, let's put this Judy talk where it belongs..... in the past.

We both have felt this way for some time. I remember us "talking" about this possibility before. He would fit so well with this ball club.

I've always believed Carlos would be a good ballplayer. But, then, I said he needs to break out this year or move on. Well, he has officially broke out imho.

They are just trying to find someway to manufacture something to motivate themselves. But, hell, if they are not motivated by the pennant race, then they should just pack it in.

Garland has been effective lately. His last 4 starts have all been quality starts.

I don't think there is any question that Loaiza would drill someone if the situation called for it.

We need to run that to 4 and take f***ing control of this division. That would be the plan, I'm sure. However, Santana and Radke have been very effective lately. Santana had a rough outing last time he pitched. Maybe that's a sign of things to come. Winning these next two won't be easy, but it would be very very huge to do so.
