I'm not sure, but this might be a case of curving the truth. Maybe the teams you mentioned had less than a 7 game lead at the ASB but built their leads higher later in the season. No. A player with as much ML service time as White has the option of accepting or not. If he chooses not to go to AAA, he's a free agent.
