AND THATS A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!!!!!!&#
whitesoxfan101 replied to NUKE_CLEVELAND's topic in Pale Hose Talk
BA is the freaking 9 hitter, all I want from him is 1 for 4 and a walk every once in a while. He's fine in the field, and eventually will be capable of 1 for every 4 with a few walks. Be patient, if anything it's good he's going through this now while everybody else is crushing the ball (same could be said for Uribe and Pods, although Pods is starting to show signs now). -
I want to see Jon, Cliff, and Neal all pitch and pitch well tomorrow. If we can get those 3 straightened out, I officially have no worries about this team. Anderson and Uribe will be fine, and I think Pods will too. Let's sweep these clowns, GO SOX!

Freel plays everyday and leadoffs in CF for them now, and they can probably give Brandon Phillips some more PT at 2nd, the former Indians prospect has looked great for them in limited PT so far. Kearns and Dunn are also raking for them, and of course they have defending silver slugger winner and all star Felipe Lopez at SS, so it doesn't hurt them THAT bad for this to happen, at least not as much as it has in the past. Wish Griff would stay healthy though, he's still fun to watch hit .

Count is sick, that deal we signed him for was SUCH a damn steal. I don't care how old he "really is", dude has the 2nd best raw stuff in baseball next to A.J. Burnett, and unlike A.J. *knock on wood* he knows how to use his stuff now and isn't hurt all the time. Great win all around tonight, let's sweep these assclowns and get to 10-5 and keep hot. -

Real nice win for the Bulls, Orlando had won about a dozen in a row at home and hadn't lost since late February down there. To sweep the Florida back to back is great, gotta come home and beat Toronto and see what happens. For this team to finish 41-41 would be something considering all the stupid losses they have. -
QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Apr 17, 2006 -> 01:24 PM) I dont see how we could matchup with the Heat at all. We have no answer to Shaq none at all.... and no one can really stop Wade either. If they were healthy I'd agree with you, but they aren't healthy.

Great news, hopefully both these scumbags enjoy prison.

QUOTE(Cuck the Fubs @ Apr 17, 2006 -> 11:36 AM) I seriously think we can beat the Pistons in round 1 The Bulls matchup so badly with them...that would be a sweep without much of a fight. However the Bulls could give anybody else a series IMO, even Miami.

It's cool when he does it, but I can see why the organization would be take this action, especially if he was waiving others onto the field. -

QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 07:39 PM) So is Philly eliminated as well? Yes, the 16 playoff teams are now officially set. It's just a matter of who gets what seeds that isn't decided yet. -
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?...MNGQOI9U7L1.DTL Yet again, these 2 writers provide more overwhelming evidence agianst Bonds. I doubt he is found guilty of perjury, but it's pretty obvious he was/is on a lot of s***.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 15, 2006 -> 09:56 AM) You think Pittsburgh would love to have him at first instead of Sean Casey right now? Shelton could wind up hitting 30 HR's very easily. However, since he still has to hit at Comerica, I think he'll tail off sooner rather than later. Now I wouldn't say that. With all the fence moving they have done, that place actually favors hitters a bit (unless you hit it to center, still a freaking death valley there).

QUOTE(Heads22 @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 06:22 PM) Just more evidence in the conspiracy of people keeping Thome out of the HR lead. That park is a launching pad, and that Cardinals lineup besides Pujols, Rolen, and Edmonds is POOP. Eventually Pujols will see the Bonds treatment, people can't be this stupid for another entire season.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Apr 16, 2006 -> 06:21 PM) I love pitching in the rain. It gives my 2-seamer more movement but it is bad for the curveball, at least in my experience. But I missed the game, how bad was the weather? It was pouring, Freddy probably had no footing and no grip on the ball at all. Well to be honest it was a bit s***ty the way they got the game in from the Blue Jays perspective, but we probably win easy with the way the game was going if it never rains, so hey no harm done. If we can get ANYTHING out of this bullpen besides Jenks and B-Mac who I have full trust in (and I think Cotts will be fine), damn look out again. -
Walk him everytime possible in June. There better be a damn good reason why if we don't walk him during an AB during our series against them. He should get the Bonds treatment, he's that good.

Bulls in, Magic out. Bulls should avoid Detroit and Miami if they can beat an eliminated Orlando team and then beat Toronto at home. -
Game meant nothing for Miami, was a great time to get a game at their place. Easy win, hello playoffs. If the Bulls can beat a Magic team that is now eliminated and has nothing to play for, and then beat Toronto at home, they should avoid Detroit and Miami in the 1st round.
-
Well considering he's easily better than Brian "white hope" Urlacher, I'd say letting him walk isn't a good idea.
-
Liriano and Santana are going to be killing us for a long time. Damnit I hate lefties with unhitable stuff.
-
Haha damn....Fort Lauderdale is in the 954 (Broward County) and the Marlins play in the hood of Carol City, which is 305 (Miami-Dade County). That's a pretty bad geographical miss by the Hawk there.

QUOTE(DBAH0 @ Apr 14, 2006 -> 09:50 PM) The Bulls pulled out yet another close win. Unless the Raps can beat em on the last day of the season, we're done. Well, that is also assuming the Bulls just roll over and die at Miami (who has nothing to play for now) and Orlando, as well as that Orlando just breezes to easy home wins against the Bulls and 76ers and then go win at Indiana. And if the unlikely happens and that all somehow happens, the Bulls still get an easy win over a s*** team at home to end the year. You guys are going to be very good next year though, especially if you get Roy or Brewer. -
Also, I saw a tornado once in northwestern Illinois. It was during the late afternoon, only an FO and pretty small, but I had a clear look at it and it was for sure a tornado. Great experience, especially since the one I saw didn't do any damage other than kick up a lot of dirt.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Apr 14, 2006 -> 11:56 AM) Iowa is a great place to raise kids. Some people like the peace and quiet. It's a farming state and will always be a farming state, but someone has to do it. That's what the midwest is noted for I suppose. Yeah I've actually been to Iowa for reasons several times and enjoyed my time there, there are far worse places to live. But damn, between the stuff I listed before, there are some bad sides to living there. I'm VERY happy to here most everybody is ok though, that's a hell of a cleanup job though.

Boers is way too damn cynical, and Bernsie is a f***ing know it all...but the show is still fun to listen to.
