Yeah yeah I know i'll get ripped to pieces for starting this thread, but I swear anytime we get Buehrle a lead he comes out right away the next inning or maybe the one after that and gives up runs. It annoys the piss outta me and I always find myself b****ing about it, and I have some friends that agree with me. Buehrle is a great pitcher, but I swear he needs to throw up a 0 once in a while after we score some runs, even if it's a moot point since this is going to be a rainout.

"Sit back, relax, and strap it down!" -Hawk "Whatever you do, just don't strap it on!" -D.J. Bring it on! -
I'm glad I got last second Bulls tickets. Ick. Hopefully there will be baseball to watch Monday night, that will be an ugly game and I have little interest.

Mason is way undermanned as it is, if they continue to not box out like they aren't right now they will lose by 30. BOX OUT!!

Lewis and Thomas are going to have a 4 or 5 man rotation of big bodies coming at them all game.....I have a bad feeling that will get them both into foul trouble and that could be the difference.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 05:10 PM) I was so excited just to hear him. I was at the Illinois/Arizona elite 8 game in Rosemont last year. I completely lost track of where I was for a few minutes as he introduced the lineups that day and started thinking White Sox for a few minutes.

QUOTE(ZoomSlowik @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 04:48 PM) Dameon Mason is eligible as a transfer from Marquette. He's a 6'5" 190 pound SG that will be eligible as a junior. He was a starter there for two years, averaging 9 points as a freshmen and 11.9 as a sophomore. Ahh man I forgot all about Mason. He's a solid player and will help LSU.

Gene Honda has introduced the starters, so that means game time! Go GMU!

Blalock doesn't hit outside of his park and is also a "post steriod era question mark" candidate. Keep Crede.

Miguel Cabrera isn't going anywhere. The Marlins aren't even cheap enough to give up the 2nd coming of Manny Ramirez.

Which game will be your first this year?

April 22nd vs. the Twins. -
This doesn't make up for that game vs. Detroit at the UC earlier this year where the Hawks had a 2 goal lead with under a minute left in the third, blew the lead, and lost on a goal basically as time expired in OT.

RBI single by Gload, 5-2. Another really good bat off the bench, and a lefty. Damn!
-
RBI double by Dye, 4-2 .
-
Holy s***. Francoeur throws one halfway to Macon, allowing Gooch to score. 3-2 Sox, nice single on that play the other way by Konerko.

Well it's being reported on ESPN Radio, so much for a hoax.

Boone Logan will not allow the bullpen to suck. All hail Boone the great, he's why this bullpen will be the shiznit.

Somebody bump this thread April 24th when Neifi is named the full time starter at short and the Cubs pick up a vet off the scrap heap to platoon in left with Murton.

QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 12:58 AM) I'm not expert on the Bulls, but I would think a draft of Rodney Carney and then Patrick O'Bryant would be very solid. The pick numbers are unlikely to work out for the Bulls to get either. I think the Bulls will end up with Tyrus Thomas or Aldridge with the Knicks pick, and all signs point to the Bulls taking Brewer with their own pick. -
QUOTE(Palehosefan @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 12:56 AM) Oddly enough, LSU doesn't appear to have any 2006 commitments right now. All 13 players on their roster are scholly players, and the guard Mitchell is their only senior.

"Johan Jr." needs to realize that going more than 20 MPH over the limit after being overserved is not a good idea.

QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 02:03 PM) And they wonder why the Cardinal's are a better team. You dont see Stl naming anything "Tribune's Home Run Porch". Well to be fair, they still have Big Mac land, even several years after McGwire is gone, which is sponsored by McDonalds. -

QUOTE(Be Good @ Mar 31, 2006 -> 12:45 PM) Where's Georgetown? Only starter leaving is Bowman, and Center Hibbert will be a Junior and much better. GTown also has 2 of the 10 top recruits supposely. Not to mention Ewing Jr. being able to play after his year of inelgibilty, honestly I have no idea if he has talent. First of all, Ewing's kid really isn't very good, I'd be shocked if he plays all that much. As for your point in general....Georgetown actually only played a 6 man "rotation" this year, and 3 of them graduate (Brandon Bowman, Ashanti Cook, Darrel Owens who were 3, 4, 5 in scoring, 2 in double figures). In other words, Georgetown has 3 guys with experience coming back in guard Jonathan Wallace and stars Roy Hibbert and Jeff Green, all will be juniors. G-Town has 2 stars in a nice role player in those 3, but after that they have a lot of question. Returning sophomore Jessie Sapp will probably compete for minutes at guard with incoming fresman Jeremiah Rivers, and incoming 5 star studs DaJuan Summers and Vernon Macklin will also get a chance to shine. Georgetown will be solid and have 2 STARS in Green and Hibbert, but after that they will be reliant on very young guys who haven't played much (if at all) at a high level in college. And also, Georgetown will also likely have depth issues yet again. In short, the 2 stars will be stars, and Georgetown's 3 incoming freshman (who can all play, 2 of whom are STUDS) have to be good right away. -
I've seen it, and it confirms what I've thought all along. I think to say it was a complete government conspiracy is wrong, but to say we had no idea it was coming may be even more wrong. We knew things, the question is (a question I don't think ever will really be answered sadly) is how much did we know.

Yeah tornadoes are very fascinated to research. However I wouldn't want to live in an area that gets that many of them. I saw a tiny one a few years ago (I assume an FO) and it was pretty neat though.
