Of course Rios and Konerko are the ones with the good approaches. Hopefully it rubs off. Freddy looks kind of off tonight. I'm a bit worried.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:12 PM) Alexei's AB music kills me. Haha I laugh everytime I hear it.

We were almost all wrong about LBJ if he goes to Miami, because he has absolutely zero ego if he goes there.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 10:01 PM) I love how Hawk and Stone are kissing Joe Saunder's ass because he won 32 games these past two years. Maybe they should realize that Saunders sucks this year and was a very mediocre pitcher the past two years. One day, people will understand how overrated wins are for pitchers. I hope. Freddy better have his A game tonight. Looks like we're just going to bail and wail at the off speed pitches all night.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:58 PM) Ugh, Viciedo was trying to pull the ball, and was way out in front of the offspeed pitch. Walker better talk to these guys now. I'm sure he will. Walk does a great job with young hitters, and we're great with in game adjustments, especially agianst off speed pitches.

Castro needs to play more, AJ is just useless right now and Ramon is swinging pretty well.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 09:51 PM) My wife might kill me if there's a lot more 2 hour rain delays. Between the holiday Monday, LeBronwatch, and the rain delays, I don't think i've done anything productive this week in any regard other than eat, sleep, and use the bathroom.

These late night starts the last couple of days have been interesting. It'd be nice to get another win. Great job getting out of that mess.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:58 PM) dumb question, why no sign and trade for lebron so he can get the max? out of the question? ship deng, taj, (anyone) picks, trade exception and all? Cleveland refuses to do it. They are basically daring LeBron to leave.
-
Does that leave enough room for LeBron?
-
QUOTE (chw42 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:45 PM) Swinging for the fences would be getting both Wade and LeBron. It seems like Wade and Bosh were going to play together all along. I think the choices were Wade and Bosh, or LeBron.
-
Well we're back in the game if nothing else it appears. I'd still say major underdogs though.
-
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:40 PM) Our buddy @Ric Bucher: "Rumors of NYK having legit shot at LeBron or him going to Mia seem like an attempt by LRMR to create suspense for Thurs show." For once, I agree with him.
-
Even if it works, waiting for LeBron when you could have had Wade/Bosh just seems like too risky a move if true. Looks brilliant if it works though, especially if you can add a big to go with LBJ.

I'd be willing to bet every bit of "information" we get between now and tomorrow night is misinformation from the James camp designed to get more ratings and interest. Don't buy any of it.

Hudson has more potential as a starter than several of our everyday players do at their spots. Get a bat first. Please.

Spain picked a great time to play to their potential. Looking forward to the final. -
I'm not convinced LeBron even knows what headband he's going to pick yet. It sounds idiotic to have this tv program planned without a decision already made, but if anybody would do it, it's LeBron.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 03:07 PM) It'll be funny to see how all of us look if he ends up choosing the Bulls. I would strongly suggest against ruling out the Bulls yet.
-
Does detached muscle mean he's out for the year?
-
Yeah that article says it perfectly. In trying to advance his brand, he ruined his image. And he'll be the most criticized man in sports until he proves he can win something.
-
QUOTE (Heads22 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 02:52 PM) I wonder if Viciedo has been playing well enough that he could go in such a deal Yuck.
-
The free agent class of this year has managed to make Kobe Bryant seem likeable (although ideally, the actually likeable in general Kevin Durant will get a few rings soon).
-
I almost feel bad for whatever free agents the Bulls do sign. The wrath of anger from the fanbase will be taken out on them.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 7, 2010 -> 02:38 PM) "While we were frustrated in missing out on LeBron James and Dwayne Wade, we are very excited to be able to bring in super star caliber players such as David Lee and JJ Reddick." I'm sure that's what we'll get at some point, not being sarcastic. "We have our superstar in Derrick Rose, and a great young nucleus in the frontcourt in Joakim Noah, Luol Deng, and Taj Gibson. We feel adding pieces like David Lee and JJ Redick gives us a balanced team that will play at a championship level under new coach Tom Thibodeau."
