y'know, it's not like Masset is now barred from going 2 innings ever. if you complained about Wasserman being here, this should be embraced. In certain situations, when RHP is needed, i wont want Dotel in there. I'm fine with Masset getting more setup type appearances.

And I fully understand that Walk has said he would never overhaul Quentin's swing or anything of that sort. But that's not to say he's been 100% silent around him either.

All yesterday, people were saying that Walker deserves no credit for having done anything with CQ. To me, a guy who has shown great talent at the minors, yet HASNT produced at the majors..... that's the type of guy who is aided by a hitting coach. And a source for praise given to said hitting coach. That, plus CQ's having switched from NL to AL. Pitchers he has not seen, etc.

The younger guys here, however, I think have been on the rise. That's enough for me to give pause to an extreme move like firing the hitting coach.
