That's really up to the team dynamic. If Madrigal develops, the Sox are a better overall team with Moncada at 3rd despite his WAR suffering. I'd rather have a better team than have Moncada have a better WAR. Defensive WAR is bullshit anyway.

He's carrying an 850 ops and playing good D. Moncada isn't a problem right now.

If you compare Baez to Moncada at age 24, Moncada is slightly ahead. I think Moncada has more upside he hasn't tapped into yet, but it's going to take time to develop because he has so much going on at the plate. Being a switch hitter that likes to see a lot of pitches, he's more high maintenance.

If you're going to compare Moncada to Baez, wait until Moncada is 27 too. Personally I think Moncada will be a better player, but we just don't know yet.

Bush, Madrigal, Pilkington, Walker, Rutherford and Basabe are all still legit prospects. None of them might make it, but they're still prospects.

Yeah, it was a callback. I actually think the show runners did a really good job with symbolic callbacks and homages that people didn't notice. If anybody ever rewatches the entire thing, pay attention to the way Dany's scenes are edited and the scenes that follow. There are tons of subtle references to her fate. Almost all of her scenes are followed by references to fire and references to despair.

As the Dornish do. He was beaten by Gregor because he didn't fear him. He toyed with him.

That's not why. Oberyn thought he was invincible. The vanity of the Dornish is their downfall. It's parallel to Ser Arthur Dayne and how he was defeated.

Kathleen Kennedy managed to fuck up both Game of Thrones and Star Wars. It really is impressive.

I'm guessing they didn't mention the Dornish Prince's name because there's going to be a book twist that has nothing to do with the show. There's a massive Dornish subplot in the books thay the show never touched.

Dorne was so wrong that I'm glad they just left it alone. They nailed Oberyn and messed literally every other part of Dorne up, including the dead guy Ser Arthur Dayne.

Of course he's going to be the king in the books. GRRM hasn't written anything that makes sense in 15 years. Don't count on it.
