At the game. I have a sell the team sign see if it gets on air should be able o see it with the right handed batters -
Bryce Harper like EVs at that age. Impressive. If he's half the player we got a good one.

Anytime you can get a guy with a 225 OPS into the lineup you do it. -

Last night was brutal, the bunt, how Kopech was used, the kill shot at the end, the failure to plate another insurance run the inning prior, even for this team it was bad. -

lol, classic Hawk. The way he pauses and goes "the Mariners" is perfect. -
Thorpe's MLB debut. I am 6th row behind Sox' dugout. I'm gonna be giving it to Pedro all game.

The offense on that team was very good and borderline elite. Frank wouldn't have really helped. The pitching just regressed almost to a man and as was noted above it was one of MBs worst seasons. It seemed everytime we needed him to have a solid start he wasn't able to get it done, especially down the stretch.

Do people realize Pham was in a bad slump when he got hurt and was down to .3 fWAR and was basically on a 1.5 fWAR pace? Like he's a decent player, which stands out here, but it's not like he's going to put up a 5 WAR season. There's no reason to think we won't continue this historical losing pace, especially given they seem intent on trading Robert.

Eh, I'd expect us to play about the same. If you had a team that was maybe like 75 wins on paper maybe you'd get a dead cat bounce if you fired the manager or something, but this team I don't even see a pilot light. Maybe if Robert went on a Judge like month and hit 10 HR or something and just carried the team but short of that we're going to continue to win around a .300 pace at best.

We have a bad mix of guys that try "too hard" like Vaughn and Kopech and guys that are too happy go lucky and aren't focused like Eloy and at times Robert and Moncada. Of course we also have a 50 win team on paper. Nobody could motivate or win with these bums.

It's all downstream of losing, always has been. Win some games and you will become a bit of a destination. We saw that briefly in 2021.

Is he starting tonight? s%*# maybe I will get a ticket.

One of the main problems with the current incentives in MLB: large streams of revenue are guaranteed regardless of on field product. Of course JR has been part and parcel of this and this is exactly what a majority of the owners want.

MLB Players' Poll: White Sox second worst org after A's

You can go ahead and add that the guy that did all this was a prized hire of the previous regime. -
AND THAT'S A GRAND WHITE SOX WINNER!!

Nice to beat Boston. Weather where I'm at is finally nice, not going to be watching too much rest of the way I'd imagine as after work it's gonna be BBQ and beers and buds. Hopefully we can flip some of these guys that are playing OK like Sheets so we can root on some new faces come late Summer as the days start to fade...
