  1. Hey guys the bums we have in AAA are not any better than the bums we have in MLB. Carry on.
  2. Eloy. At least Robert is elite at a premium defensive position.
  3. Lucas is one of the most likeable guys on the team and for the most part has performed. I'll be sad to see him go but happy to see him go to a team where he has a better chance of winning.
  4. It's to get more velocity. I believe it is one of the core things drive line teaches. I believe it has to do with the arm speed generated by the mechanics they teach.
  5. Of course you do, you have a lot of strident contrarian opinions. Healthy 25 year old on pace to play 156 games, something that's been done literally tens of thousands of times in MLB and you're all "nah, he needs more rest".
  6. Way things are looking, I'll be able to get a Sox dugout side ticket rows 5-10 or so for about 40-50 bucks when they come to Seattle. The Mariners look disappointing as well. I'll boo the s%*# out of the Sox: money well spent.
  7. I love Hawk but circa 2015 his brain broke. Honestly if he was watching this year's team he probably would have called someone a c_nt and ruined any legacy he had.
  8. If you look back a few years ago the Sox were the talk of the town. Yea, and I used to have a 32" waist.
  9. In better news, the official White Sox IG account posted a new promotion. For every game under .500 the team is prior to the homestand beers are 20 cents off. If current trends hold, beer will be free by mid summer.
  10. Joe Kelly is a clown. He fits right in here.
  11. I almost hope we win 50 in a row just so the retconning of Rickie, who will never be a manager in mlb again, stops.
  12. Tampa is a bit of a dump imo but Sarasota is awesome. I did a week on the beach there a few years ago as part of a family trip. Really enjoyed it and we went in the shoulder season in October and the weather was perfect and crowds not a problem.
  13. Their stadium is in an awful location. I'm trying to think of a Chicago equivalent. Maybe if the Sox played near Midway airport or some s%*#. The stadium itself we all know about, arguably the worst in pro sports.
  14. I mean I know we like to assume all these guys are happy because they are well paid and big leaguers but nobody, no matter how well paid, enjoys a miserable work environment. Losing sucks. These guys are hyper competitive, that's how they got to MLB. Losing to them means they are failing, at least to 9/10, regardless of what the check each month says on the front. There's no leadership. You traded away the clubhouse leader in Abreu, and Grifol? LOL, that dude couldn't lead a group of boy scouts it appears. Leadership isn't really that big of a deal until s%*# hits the fan. Well, it's hit the fan now. These is a bad team, but it's not a 110 loss bad team like they have been playing. Leaders would be able to regulate the emotional state of the clubhouse in a situation like this and get everybody pulling in the same direction again. But we don't have any, so I'd expect things to remain about how they are.
  15. That trade was fine, good even. The problem has been pretty much every thing that has come after it, including AKME giving up on Lauri too soon and also bringing in Vuc before the team really needed to make a big move like that.
