Kopech is available today. He said it himself last night. The first step in getting him stretched out is to pitch back to back days. They are being incredibly cautious with him, as they should. If he aggravates the hammy again it puts any sort of swingman role he'd have in the playoffs in serious doubt.

I have no expectations or faith but if Katz thinks he’s the guy for the 2nd game he’s earned the benefit of the doubt.

Jeff McNeil is 50. They flat out say that if a player is obviously worse than McNeil he's outside the list and if he's better, they are probably top 30. Yoan Moncada is twice the player, quite literally by WAR, that McNeil is, he's also 4 years younger. Moncada is on a very team friendly deal. There is no fucking way McNeil has more trade value than Yoan.

Something is always hurtin' with Yoan. He's wound kinda tight. Nice to keep him fresh with a couple DH starts every week.

I'm really liking Yoan getting some DH starts. Keep him healthy and fresh and see if Burger can keep up his hot streak. So far Burger looks completely fine at 3B. Not going to make some of the plays Yoan does, and hasn't really been tested yet on a turn, but he makes the plays that need to be made. His range on the popup late yesterday was pretty impressive looked like TA was giving him a little shit for how quickly he got over there, like TA was ready but not needed and they laughed about it.
