The Contreras Conundrum
Its time for the Broadway show.

The Vulture does it again
Plus the fact he steals wins away from the starter. Like a Vulture eats the dead animal killed by a lion, Russell gets the win by stepping in on a situation by the starting 5. Hawk is credited for the nickname, heard it the night Alexei shocked the Indians

The Vulture does it again
The Vulture, Adam Russell, has been a great addition to this bullpen. And it feels good to have a 'pen that is solid and deep for the first time since '05. Not a shaky person in there.

Porn Star a Sox Fan?
Im watching the game, and Porn star Jesse Jane is sitting in the stands. When they pan to right-handed hitters, she is sitting behind the kid in the black sox jersey with the green sticker on it. And when Buehrle struck out Ellis they zoomed in on her and her squeeze but didnt say who she was.

The Camo Jerseys Tonight
What do they look like? Are they green and black or balck and white? I heard about it on the radio that the Sox were wearing these Camo jerseys for tonights game. Then they were going to sign and auction them off for charity.

Question About All-Star Voting
Quentin and Crede should start, and Gavin should also make the team.
-
What's wrong with Quentin.
Anderson is swinging well and should get some more time in the outfield this weekend. Maybe sat. and sun. he should play over Carlos, they can have Carlos DH one game if they want his bat. Rest is key

Boston first base coach?

Maybe a solution to the hitting woes
I guess my idea isn't too good, maybe it is just the fact I really like Ken Griffeyand want to see him in a Sox jersey. I thought maybe he would work well. It was just an idea...My bad
-
Maybe a solution to the hitting woes
Well Richar is useless since Alexi has come around and Chris Getz is damn good. I said though, maybe its not good to trade old for older.
-
Maybe a solution to the hitting woes
The White Sox are in need of a bat that will produce and help them into the playoffs. Even though it is early, maybe starting early will build chemistry over a longer period of time for this team to work. So my soultion is this.... Trade Paul Konerko Danny Richar TO Cinn. for Ken Griffey Jr. and possible prospect THEN Swisher can play 1B (His natural position) and Griff can play CF (His natural position). KGJR can then flurrish again in the American League. Maybe this is far fetched to trade old for older but maybe this may spark everything the right way.

Sadly, This win will be overshadowed...AGAIN!
Once again the White Sox impress all of the baseball world with their excellent play of late. And tonight they downed the Rays of Tampa Bay with a 5-1 victory behind John Danks. But tomorrow in the newspapers across Chicago (Tribune, Sun-times, and Daily Herald) the Cubs will have the front page with their lack-luster win over a terrible Rockies team. When are the writers of this city going to pull their heads out from the ass of the Chicago Cubs? I still recall the Cubs being the top story in '05 up until September, even though the Sox were the best team in baseball. I hate to open the newspaper daily because it just angers me to see a picture of Soriano, Zambrano, or Soto on the front page of the sports. Enough is Enough! Time for a profanity laced sentence. F**k those c***s*****s with every f***in win they get in their sh***y season.

Is this the turn-around for the hitting?
The last 12 games have been very exciting to watch, even though the teams have been sub-par. It seems that finally that the hitting has come around to where it should be. The O-Dawg, Orlando Cabrera, has really picked it up as of late. He is doing what Kenny thought he would do when he made the trade with Garland. His defense has been solid all year so far and now the hitting is starting to pick up. Jim Thome was is a bit of a funk the first 2-months of the year, but he has been getting some timely hitting. He has had some solid hits that just haven't found holes or empty grass, and most of them have been with two outs in the inning. So the sacrifices just aren't there for him, but he seems to be fighting out of the slump he has been in. Swisher is a different story all together. I think he is pressing too much to be a huge hitter and become the face of the team since he was the most noted new player. If he takes off some of the pressure he is putting on himself and just plays baseball like he did in Oakland, he will be just fine. Konerko is off to another terrible start, something he has done a lot in his career. I think it is something we as fans are going to have to live with and work around. Maybe it is a rush to think that we are about to see more .300 averages, but I like how things have progressed. Regardless of the fact we played Seattle, a decent Angels team, SF, and Cleveland. Things are looking up for the White Sox. The pitching is there and all we need is for the hitting to pick up and this team will be in the playoffs no problem. Something to think about: Boston Red Sox World Series Champs 2004 and 2007 Chicago White Sox World Series Champs 2005 and 2008???? SI preseason rank White Sox in 2005- 3rd Place White Sox in 2008- 3rd Place Ironic??? Lets Go Sox

How big reception will Pudge get on Thursday?
There is only one Pudge, and it ain't the catcher of the Tigers. I wasn't old enough to watch Fisk play, because I was born in 1988. But I can still appreciate all the highlights I have seen and stories I have heard about this Chicago Legend. I have been looking forward to this since I bought tickets the day after they made it public in the newspaper. I have a feeling it could be a 2min ovation for him and a White Sox winner with A.J. going yard.

How big reception will Pudge get on Thursday?
Since I am going to the game on Welcome Back Carlton Fisk Night, I have been so excited about it that I pose this question. How big of an ovation will the legend get from us Sox fans? It is about time that Jerry manned up and gave Carlton what he deserved. Go Sox

This makes me feel good
On SI.COM in the photos section, the most recent ones entitled "Offbeat Photos." The last 2 are of the White Sox players including John Danks and Nick Swisher getting their facial hair painted pink. And in one picture, a cancer patient is shown painting Swisher's. This makes me feel good to see our Sox giving back to the people, and reaching out to those who are in need of support. This should get more publication than constant A-Rod injury update and Cubs Coverage in Chicago. Go Sox! Pictures are from Si.Com
