Seeing the production with Mackowiak in the lineup, it just reaffirms my infatuation with wanting a platoon of him and Ozuna for LF and leading off. It is seriously our best option for LF.

Well, the inning could've been better, but Verlander shouldn't pitch into the 7th at all. Zumaya went 2 yesterday, so is there any chance he pitches today?

At least Crede saw a few pitches. Verlander's at 65 now. One good inning and we can knock him out during the 6th or just make sure he doesn't get into the 7th.

I'm very glad he's not having trouble hitting, and not the other way around. His bat is what we really need right now, his throwing power isn't nearly as necessary.
