White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
QUOTE(FlaCWS @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 03:46 PM) Give me a break. They had a two run lead with two outs in the bottom of the 9th. How is that on PK? Frankly I just don't understand Ozzie sometimes. Maybe Garland's pitch count was too high? Otherwise how do you take him out of the game? I just have no comprehension of that. None. You can't put this one on Ozzie. You're wrong.

I wish Ozzie would pull PK from the game right now. Let him know he better get his s*** together immediately.

White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
This is squarely on PK. Absolutely horrendous today and may cost us a win.

All you have to do is NOT GIDP. I can't believe someone could be in that deep of a rut.

QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 03:27 PM) Well if Erstad is getting it going with the bat, then we have one HUGE hole in the lineup left to get his s*** together...and he REALLY needs to behind Thome. I have no doubt that he'll heat up. I question whether Erstad can continue this little streak, though.

I think Polanco just knocked Garland out of the game. Who pitches the 9th?
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
Ha, gameday is so far behind you guys. WOOOOHOOOOOO, I guess.

White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
Garland at 93 pitches, should see the 8th.

QUOTE(RME JICO @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 02:59 PM) Yes, but I changed it awhile ago (it was too common). So I just went with my other one that I use (RME = Army) (JICO = Joint Interface Control Officer) - my current occupation. Cool, and what was your old one?

QUOTE(RME JICO @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 02:52 PM) Sox giving a great pitched game away (they must think Danks is pitching). 15 LOB with several in scoring position. I have a couple questions for you. Did you used to have another name on this site? And what does your current one mean?

White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
There's no way that Verlander should've pitched 7 innings today. That is unacceptable.
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
You f***ing idiot. You honestly can't put a decent at-bat up?
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
He's gonna finish out the inning?
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
Good job, Erstad. Coming through.
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
Do NOT let him get through this inning.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 02:34 PM) I can't see why he wouldn't. I dunno...early in the season, young pitcher, just wouldn't like him to go back out.
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
Damn it, he might come back out for the 7th.
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
Because AJ's an idiot when it comes to plate discipline.
-
White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
Alright, even if you don't score any runs, just put together a few moderately decent at-bats this inning. Let's get to that bullpen as soon as possible.

Seeing the production with Mackowiak in the lineup, it just reaffirms my infatuation with wanting a platoon of him and Ozuna for LF and leading off. It is seriously our best option for LF.

QUOTE(fathom @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 02:23 PM) Some of the worst ABs I've ever seen from PK and Dye. Good job of tying though! Is it me, or does Mackowiak bring a lot of the intangibles to this team that Pods doesn't? For all the man love Erstad gets from Hawk and Ozzie, he's nowhere near the "grinder" that Mackowiak is.

White Sox vs. Tigers, 4/22/07 (L)
Well, the inning could've been better, but Verlander shouldn't pitch into the 7th at all. Zumaya went 2 yesterday, so is there any chance he pitches today?
