  1. Think we can use 5 relievers in one inning? That'd be awesome.
  2. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 04:35 PM) Our whole team is so ridiculously predictable, in good and bad ways. Holy s***. You'd think that with 4 relievers in 1 inning that at least one of them wouldn't be terrible.
  3. QUOTE(ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 04:35 PM) Vazquez deserved to win today and in Boston but will get neither thanks to our so very consistent offense...pathetic It just makes up for all the terribly-pitched games that he won. It's basically karma.
  4. Our whole team is so ridiculously predictable, in good and bad ways.
  5. QUOTE(Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 04:33 PM) Despite the dislike for Riske on here, he's been fairly good with us. Hopefully he can get the job done here. As long as there's absolutely nothing on the line.
  6. QUOTE(G&T @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 04:30 PM) I'm going to defend Ozzie for the moves today. This team really needed BMac to eat a couple innings today because the load has been too big on Thornton and MacDougal has an injury history so you don't want to push him too hard. Unfortunately this pen blows. It's funny because our good relievers are really f'ing good, but our bad relievers are unbelievably bad.
  7. Every single righty better be pinch hitting this next inning.
  8. f***, he's not just going to put us in a deficit, he's going to make sure this one's over.
  9. The way Ozzie uses McCarthy makes me hate him. He's just a pathetic reliever.
  10. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 10, 2006 -> 04:22 PM) But...but...but...Ozzie knows how to handle his players. Can McCarthy not allow a homer this inning? Probably not. Especially if he's falling behind 2-0 to good hitters.
  11. Our approach is terrible. You'd think Ozzie or Walker would have something to say about this. We can't lose another game because we refuse to get any kind of hits besides homers.
  12. Uribe's average is now just slightly better than Anderson's. I've come to realize that I don't have any qualms with trading him this offseason, no matter how good his defense is.
  13. I haven't felt comfortable once this entire season seeing McCarthy come into the game out of the pen.
  14. He's only at 127 pitches. I'd send him back out there.
  15. This guy better win the MVP. I don't even care if the Phillies make the playoffs.
  16. QUOTE(fathom @ Sep 9, 2006 -> 06:50 PM) Hafner's out for the season. ¿Qué?
  17. We can't really say what will be the defining moment of the 2006 season yet. A lot of things can still happen.
