  1. QUOTE(GreatScott82 @ Sep 4, 2006 -> 10:17 PM) wow mccarthy sucks ass in the pen. When he came into the game, I told all of my roommates that he's either great or terrible out of the pen. The game would either end this inning, or he'd go 4+ scoreless innings. Of course, he he gave up a walkoff homer to the great Carlos Pena.
  2. We're just throwing this season away. Carlos f***ing Pena?
  3. QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:49 PM) I have little doubt that we can help the Red Sox get back in the wild card race. That's what terrifies me.
  4. QUOTE(bunkerf16 @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:49 PM) Question for you Sox fans........how many in here thought Ozzie was a good manager last year, and how much of the "Ozzie Sucks" mantra going on here is because of frustration with how the team is playing......Did you guys think Ozzie sucked last year too, and they won dispite him, or has his management style changed since last year..... Thanks..... They won last year because of the outrageous pitching they got. Any manager in baseball history basically would've won it all with that staff. I have long said that Ozzie is a terrible in-game manager.
  5. It would suck to get swept by the Red Sox. And I think that just might happen.
  6. The AL wildcard is just about who sucks least down the stretch. I hope everyone now realizes how bad of a manager Ozzie Guillen is.
  7. QUOTE(beautox @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:39 PM) Ozzie just wants to put McCarthy on a cross, so he can proudly announce he isn't are savior, and he isn't a good pitcher, hes setting up to fail. That actually sounds about right to me, as far-fetched as some may say it is.
  8. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Sep 3, 2006 -> 04:34 PM) Does Ozzie want to win this game? No. It really feels like he does not care.
  9. I was about to close gameday, then I saw Freddy was still in. And he's given up a leadoff hit. f*** you, Ozzie Guillen. I can't believe people don't see how he plays favorites.
  10. Luckily, we have the meat of the order coming up for the 9th.
  11. As bad as their starters look for this series, I bet at least one of ours (Contreras) gets annihilated by them.
  12. I remember thinking the only way the Sox make the playoffs is if they manage to play the least badly. That may be happening.
  13. Back at school, so I can't watch the game. I just checked the score, and; f*** No more checking this score. And time to get McCarthy into the rotation to take our "ace's" spot.
  14. I'm going to an ECW/Smackdown taping some time in the next couple weeks. I can't remember the date, but it's in Worcester.
  15. QUOTE(MHizzle85 @ Aug 30, 2006 -> 10:13 PM) Something i missed? I've alwas been kinda fond of Swisher I didn't say he's not good at baseball. But every time I see him play, he seems to make extremely stupid plays/errors that make me think he has s*** for brains.
  16. Yep, they've officially waved the white flag. That's bad news for us, seeing as we're no better off than they are. At least, that's what I heard.
  17. Damn, I was hoping this could be a waiver-wire deal.
  18. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Aug 31, 2006 -> 12:25 PM) With him missing games and the Red Sox looking like they're golfing in October, Papi deserves no mention in the MVP talk anymore. Doesn't matter. Ortiz and Jeter will both almost definitely get more votes than Dye. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Aug 30, 2006 -> 10:21 AM) Once again, I have to ask why Joey Cora has a job. ^^^^
  19. Jon Garland has absolutely, positively no chance at winning the Cy Young. Jermaine Dye has a better chance at winning the MVP. And with a Red Sox player and a Yankee player ahead of him, he also has no chance.
