  1. being distracted by a baserunner is an unacceptable excuse at the plate, no matter how many strikes are on you. sack up dye. Sounds like something alfonso soriano would be upset about.
  2. it looks like we need a poll thread to see how many of us think we will take the series at wrigley

  5. Remember kids, heroes get remembered..,.,, but legends never die
  6. I'm a huge Miguel Olivo fan, but i don't regret management's decisions. Olivo's got sick tools, but its taken him a long time to develop this far, and hes still got a ways to go to reach his potential.
  7. I love it, put this guy at the bottom of the order all year and let'em rip.
  8. Non-issue
  9. QUOTE (the People's Champ @ May 26, 2008 -> 06:52 PM) Does he have a C on his jersey? Who has dubbed him "leader"? What makes trying to get an error changed "selfish". You people read too much into frivilous s***. Get over it. I agree completely, no one calls pauly selfish when he complains about a hang whiffle called third strike right down the middle. Defense is just as important if not more important, and orlando is definitely someone who takes pride in his defense.
  10. change my opinion slightly to being in full white sox uniform, (yes, spiked up) with my Jon Garland Jersey (20, not 52), and then throw a wicked change up.
  11. Only if i could wear a Jon Garland White Sox Jersey and throw a wicked change up.
  12. Who are these Fu*$In' Guys?
  13. Mark buehrle pinch hits in the 17th inning at 3am chicago time, game winning homerun
  14. The feast will begin and not quit baby!!!
  15. alexei ramirez pinch hits in the ninth and hits a walk off grand slam, i'm callin it right now.
  16. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 6, 2008 -> 10:37 PM) How does that compare with other teams though? I'd imagine there are a fair number of teams that get dragged down by what a couple guys in their minors are doing. but it sucks that we are getting dragged down by our big leaguers
  17. QUOTE (knightni @ May 6, 2008 -> 05:47 PM) Yes, but the real question is: Can the sex doll sing, "Don't Stop Believin'"? haha best post ever, for that to happen the hardcore group would have to takeover the project.
  18. I think the business comparison is a good one. And i think that their business takes place on the field, not in the lockerroom. While the reporting creates exposure and influences the bottom line, i think it is an indirect source and does not need to completely comply to business policies.
  19. sorry i shouldn't have started the argument again.. just nevermind
  20. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 6, 2008 -> 04:06 PM) What should be done? I see a lot of people are very angry right now, and that's your right, but what should be done to "fix" this? Complaining and being offended doesn't fix or change anything. fix what? creativity and humor
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 6, 2008 -> 04:57 PM) There's nothing offensive about that... lol, i thought you'd get a kick out of that
  22. were going to need to up the offensiveness in our slumpbusters if we plan to get out of this one. Maybe if we say the blow up doll is black, a gay dude that had a sex change, and prefers christian bale instead of val kilmer in batman movies.
  23. Greatest slumpbuster ever, nick swisher is a man of innovation
  24. whos for bringing blow up dolls to the next home game!?
