I went with just sad....but I think most of our problems can be solved with a managerial change in the off season. Get rid of Robin, bring back Ozzie, make some minor adjustments, and this team can win 100 games next season.

If we sign Tim Tebow, do you think he'll be assigned as well?

I was ready to move on to the football season, but after the Bears last couple of preseason games, its hard to get excited about this season's outlook. Than, the White Sox go 6-2 in the last 8 games and move to within 7.5 of the last wildcard spot. I know it's doubtful, but what if this team continued to win at a 75% clip for the remaining 33 games of the seasons? A 25-8 record would get us to 88-74 on the season - A .543 winning percentage which is about equal to the last wild card spot now. It sucks that this team keeps drawing me back in with false optimism, but I have to have something to root for and right now, its tough to see any positives with the Bears. Let's go Sox! Make a miracle happen and give me something to root for sports wise until hockey season opens up!

I'd be fine keeping Gonzalez and having Fulmer start next season in AAA. He really needs to work on some things before he's ready for a full season of starting in the big leagues.

I do not want Sale traded. If he is gone later today, we may never see a pitcher that good in a White Sox uniform for the rest of my life. I know we need some other changes to contend for a title in the near future, but winning without an ace is impossible and you just don't easily replace a Chris Sale.

The big statement here is "If it is done right..." Who really trusts Rick Hahn to do a rebuild right in the next few days? I used to believe we should be sellers, but now I just want us to stand pat. I don't trust him to get good value for the assets we have and I'd prefer to wait for a firesale until we have a GM that could do it efficiently. In addition, I really think this team could be a playoff team as is with a new manager. I know it ain't going to happen this season, but the if we kick Ventura to the curb in the offseason, I'm not sure I want to sell leading into the 2017 season.

I hope we come back, but time to go watch Obama at the convention after Robin gifted this game to the Cubs.
