sin city sox fan

This mock has UNLV ace Erick Fedde dropping all the way to the Cardinals at 34 as a result of his Tommy John surgery. Honestly, I don't think he drops that far, but if happens to last until our pick in round 2, I'd love to see the Sox take him. Obviously, he'll be out for a while recovering, but this kid is the real deal and will likely be a top starter in 3-4 years for whatever team gets him.

As bad as Cleto has been this inning, we'd still be out of it with no runs scored if Moses doesn't drop the ball. Get rid of him as well and get Danks back up here.

For those of you not a fan of Hawk, it could be a hell of lot worse. I was stuck listening the Cubs announcers Tuesday night on WGN. Granted, the game wasn't the most entertaining but those bozos (whomever they were) almost put me to sleep.

Hawk is god. The man should be a GM

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ May 7, 2014 -> 11:37 PM) Caulfield, you say there's nothing they can do. There is something they can do, and it's really easy - lower prices. We covered this last year, but the tickets prices are insane for a series that has basically no hype around it anymore and 2 rebuilding teams. $79 to sit in the bleachers? When Friday vs Arizona it's $23. LOL. Honestly, I'd rather see us play Arizona than to see us play the Cubs. Better opponent and more importantly, less obnoxious fans around you. I agree with a lot of the things the Sox do marketing wise, but dynamic pricing is definitely a mistake. Make the average ticket half of what it was tonight and you'd have twice as many fans in the stadium.

So after we win tonight, does ESPN stick around for the awarding of the Crosstown Cup?

The Cubs just called.....they want their 14 tile back.

Paulie!!!! Paulie!!!! Paulie!!!!

The Bacon Slayer is back!!!!!

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ May 4, 2014 -> 04:43 PM) By my rough math of Abreu's HR/PA and giving him 700 PA appearances on the season, he is on pace to hit 60. Factor in that Cubans hit even better in warmer weather and we're looking at an 80 HR season!

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 4, 2014 -> 07:01 PM) If you think it's only the Sox with an attendance problem, turn on ESPN. Half full Wrigley for a Sunday night Cubs Cards. Baseball is dead in Chicago. And if they weren't playing the Cardinals, it would be even emptier. I think the crowd for St Louis have been almost as vocal as Cubs fans have been tonight.

QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 21, 2014 -> 08:46 PM) What was Walkers plan exactly? To make sure every White Sox player he coached ended their career with a worse batting average than he posted.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 21, 2014 -> 08:27 PM) There are a lot of guys who have much better approaches this year. Dayan is one for sure. Walker had developed such bad habits in some of our players that it took a few years to reverse them. We are now finally seeing the Walker effect negated on players like Tank, Dunn, and Lexi.

It appears that Adam is back and will be a key component to our playoff push in 2014. I'm wondering if we should negotiate a new deal now before he posts a 35 HR / 100 RBI season and drives his asking rate through the roof. I'm thinking that Hahn should offer a deal now for about 4 years / $28 million and see if we can get him locked in at an affordable rate. Whats everyone else think?

Robin needs to come out and punch the umpire in the face. It's ridiculous that the men in blue gift the Injuns a run and RV lets them get away with it.

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 12, 2014 -> 01:44 PM) 30 minute plus 1st inning pack a lunch. At this rate, we'll win the game 32-27 in a 6 hour marathon

Lets knock Masterson out of the game in first inning!

Send Paulino to AAA.....bring up Surkamp

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 12, 2014 -> 12:28 PM) Love all the lefties in the lineup against Masterson, although I hate Garcia batting 2nd. Oh well, I'm sure he'll go 3/5 today and make me look like an idiot. I'm thinking 4/5 as he hits for the cycle

What exactly is the healing time on this injury? I know he is out for the season....but is there any chance he may be able to play in the Arizona Fall League? I'd really hate to see a 22 year old kid miss a full season of baseball and a short season in AZ may be perfect in preparing him for a great comeback in 2015.

Flowers has to make the All Star team. He continues to have an incredible season!

I didn't see that one coming! WTG Marcus!!!!

QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 3, 2014 -> 04:16 PM) I would say we should call up Javy Guerra. But he also walks a ton of batters. Coop can fix him

I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team! I love this team!

I'd give them Adam Dunn straight up
