The thing is, everyone feels that same pinch. A lot of players are gonna be dumped from a lot of teams and will be taking smaller deals. the point is, Pace and Nagy are not really concerned about any of that stuff. It's all about the now

Pandora's box is open we aren't closing it now, let's try and not wish death and injury on people openly in a game thread because of a bad result, and go from there. There are many threads critical of the FO and TLR, those are fine and allowed, you can complain about them and wish they get fired. there have been multiple complaints about posts in pretty much every game thread this season, we have handled them differently depending on the post. Some people simply don't like what another person said, others point out posters breaking site rules. We try and give people some rope, people who are suspended usually have to go way over the line. It's never gonna be perfect though

I get what you are trying to say here but let's try and look at it through what really happened. Tony thought Giolito could get through the inning before it started, I don't think Giolito is going to go up to TLR and be like "sorry man I can't go". It's not crazy to let Giolito start that inning. the problem is he got in trouble quickly, obviously, a guy was up in the bullpen warming and Tony let it go somehow thinking Giolito was still gonna get out of it. That's not on Lucas, Tony has to recognize that and move on it.

The only thing I could possibly conceive he is doing is feeling out the team so he knows what they are all capable of in certain situations. This is super dumb and I don't approve of it at all, but it's all I can come up with outside of what seems to be obvious lagging in decision making and personnel decisions due to being out of the game(in a managers role) too long.

It's possible for people to be assholes here without wishing death or injury on others, yes
