Which has been the Cali experience for most everyone on this board. Cali shows up, talks down to everyone, tells everyone how much better of a fan he is, then boasts about his fan positivity! I think the partner match was the hardest thing. Nobody is Terry, and Bernstein doesn’t defer to many people like he deferred to Terry. So, if something happened he didn’t like, you had to deal with Bernsteins attitude whereas Terry would basically tell him to stop pouting and let’s go

I like Baldwin a lot too, but I do not like how they have handled him at the major league level. It’s been very uneven playing time and not consistent at any position, and then they wonder why he looks off in the outfield sometimes. Let the kid figure it out or the trash will take itself out

I think you have to stop taking criticisms of the team as a personal affront to your opinion of the team. For me it’s two things, they browbeat the listeners with “we already talked about this” and there is a lot of out of town stupid. Midday is a rudderless ship right now.

I hate being miserable about this team. Misery has long given away to apathy, and now I’m just watching what appears to be a lot of deck chair moving. I won’t be surprised if they lose 90+ again this season. It’s going to take a lot of these kids figuring it out all at once, and you rarely see that kind of jump.
