Geoff Johns plans to bring Hope and Optimism to the DCEU

btw bmags, i hadnt heard "Mene" or "I am Nightmare" from Brand News upcoming album yet. I f***ing love "Mene". "I am Nightmare" is good, but not as good as the other

I just want Brand New. Seriously, I will be ok if that is the only thing I get

QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 19, 2016 -> 09:05 AM) Is this is a serious post? they are pretty much all the same except for nothing

if this gamethread fails, we need new blood on the next game thread

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 18, 2016 -> 11:18 PM) I'd like to see the Bulls trade up to get Jamal Murray. Don't know what it would take but aside form Ben Simmons, he is the guy I'd want for the Bulls. You can have Brandon Ingram. It's Murray who is the gem (along with Simmons). I still like the Thunder in five or six. Good job by the Warriors tonight, though, but as the Spurs proved in Game One vs. OKC, margin of victory means nothing. The OKC fans are crazy; GS in deep trouble still. Bet.The.House. Thunder to cover for sure in Game Three. Stone cold lock picks by greg the leg. If you dont have a house, you dont need one

QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 19, 2016 -> 06:17 AM) I guess. Well luckily his next sentence is even more ridiculous. Yea, "college sports presidents" arent puppets. They are businessmen. They make terrible decisions to keep money rolling in

Caulfield's Dayton Moore is copying 2003-05 KW thread
Kyyle23 replied to caulfield12's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Seriously, we dont care Caulfield. And we dont bury threads either. -
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 18, 2016 -> 02:09 PM) Great. And one of them would bring back something nice that can help you. What tradeable young assets do the Bulls have? I understand what you are saying, but Philly is still in a state of chaotic flux and really they arent really in a much better position going forward. They still are hoping to count on Embiid, and right now that guy looks like the next Oden
-
QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ May 18, 2016 -> 01:54 PM) Would you rather have the Bulls coach, roster, and financial situation or Brent Brown, tons of $$ to spend, and Ben Simmons, Joel Embiid, Dario Saric, Jahlil Okafor, and Nerlens Noel? Kind of seems like they arent really keen on keeping one or both of these guys

QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ May 18, 2016 -> 01:19 PM) Ah the good old "I was hacked.....not really I was just drunk and thought of something super smart and funny!" cop out. If someone truthfully did that s*** to me, I would bust them out in name so that everyone knew who it was. Otherwise it comes off as "someone hacked me..."

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 18, 2016 -> 12:02 PM) Honestly, I have no idea what they are doing and I'm not sure they do either. So it's hard to speculate on what is going to happen. Hopefully have some better idea once Wonder Woman comes out. Things may also be changing now that different people are in charge. Geoff Johns is a good step in the right direction. He has done pretty well with the TV side, and if anyone understands these characters it is him.

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 18, 2016 -> 11:22 AM) Yeah, kinda. That Hulk movie just seemed so distant from the current Marvel universe. It was out 4 or 5 years before Avengers. I don't think they ever really talked about any of the events that happened in the Hulk movie. Thunderbolt ross is the connection. The bottom line is if they spend the entire JL movie trying to establish 4 new characters, then they are gonna end up with the same problems that were blasted in BvS, just with more characters.

not against the rules, just not in the right place. I am moving it to the ticket exchange

QUOTE (JenksIsMyHero @ May 18, 2016 -> 10:43 AM) The guy on WGN this morning said the Bulls were considering hiring Butler's strength coach for the team. KC Johnson said it on the Score this morning too

QUOTE (bmags @ May 18, 2016 -> 10:32 AM) Um, yeah I don't think that's the message here. It is part of the message. Swanson was Rose's rehab trainer, she monitored and managed everything around him
-
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 18, 2016 -> 09:25 AM) JL could be the origin story movie for all characters. that would be a terrible idea
-
QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ May 18, 2016 -> 09:37 AM) Does that make the Twins any better? Not sure. Aren't they are looking to build. at the same time, Santana is on a 4/55M contract that runs through 2019, and I dont really see how he really helps them build considering he is an older pitcher with a large contract(relatively large for Minnesota)

QUOTE (Brian @ May 18, 2016 -> 09:23 AM) CoughBathroomDilemacough Ok i will clarify, i dont remember us closing a offseason thread that dealt with possible white sox targets. Unless it devolved to greg getting a sandwich

i dont remember us closing a thread

I just dont understand how they have structured their movies release dates Wonder Woman/JL1 2017 Flash/Aquaman 2018 Shazam/JL2 2019 Green Lantern Corps/Cyborg 2020 How do you release the origin movies of 4(5 including shazam) core members of Justice League after the first Justice League movie comes out?

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 18, 2016 -> 08:01 AM) I was by the Sox on deck circle and Robin did ask if he would ask for help. The umpire refused. my comment wasnt meant to pin it on Robin, it was obvious the home ump made up his mind.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 18, 2016 -> 12:17 AM) As someone who has played soccer since 4th/5th grade and coached it and watch all the World Cup, UEFA Champions' League etc., there's no way that soccer is the sport lowering baseball viewing. Part of it's about baseball representing an older generation of fans (comparatively), and also many in their 40's-80's actually prefer to follow the sport via a radio broadcast, which doesn't work quite as well for the other major sports. As someone mentioned, along with At Bat (I-pad/mobile phones), you have GameDay audio, you're starting to get free games/content at YAHOO and Facebook and Twitter, etc. Actually, the Cubs winning the World Series this year would be great in general for baseball as a sport because it would bring new fans (especially youngsters) to the sport, and that's where baseball has been losing to basketball, football, NASCAR, extreme sports/X-Games, Esports, mixed martial arts, etc. Right now, the NBA and MLB are about on even par in terms of profitability and team valuations. LMAO what? Boom, qualified

At the very least the umps should have huddled and talked about it, but nothing
