  4. QUOTE (bmags @ May 23, 2016 -> 01:58 PM) I think Coldhands is definitely about to make an appearance, something to help Bran get south. Could be a new or combined character (Benjen Stark). Ding
  5. QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ May 29, 2016 -> 06:47 PM) "By that I mean that JR will approve of a managerial dismissal during the season." You must have missed that part. Mark I didn't miss it, but it sticks out like a sore thumb. I'm sure in JRs mind he is thinking "f***, I might end up with another Bevington"
  6. What a terrible comp to bring up seeing how Bevington replaced Lemont. No more lightning please
  7. Took first place and their balls all at once
  8. @ckamka White Sox bullpen in April: 69.1 IP, 13 ER White Sox bullpen this series: 6.1 IP, 14 ER
  9. The entire pen shouldn't be allowed on the plane
  10. The starters handed the pen a sweep and they gave it all back
  11. Jones gotta go like 3 hitters ago, Robin
  12. This pen is a f***ing joke
  13. Nate Jones is not high leverage. He just isnt

  15. I feel like since greg posts so many BS far right articles that I have to post this http://www.pensitoreview.com/2015/03/18/fl...al-media-yawns/
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 29, 2016 -> 08:41 AM) They almost have to try the first 3-4 months next year because Frazier/Lawrie/Cabrera are going to be free agents and they'll have a potential impact SS to ignite the offense in Anderson. That and the fact that Carson Fulmer no longer can be counted on for the 2017 rotation, you have to find a starter SOMEWHERE. Obviously, the hope is that they still have enough payroll flexibility to add another bat (LH preferably) and at least one RH pitcher to the bullpen. This isn't a fact caulfield
  17. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 29, 2016 -> 08:36 AM) Caulfield, I enjoy your posts, but seriously WTF. Lmao
  18. QUOTE (Brian @ May 29, 2016 -> 08:19 AM) No faith today. Because Kyyle opened the thread. You are next, to prove that this season truly has gone s*** show
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 29, 2016 -> 02:12 AM) I write this every year on a thread and everybody ignores my post on it. Why do baseball owners insist on signing guys to these type deals?? How many times do you hear about such a signing and in a year or less the team is DYING to get rid of the guy?? It makes no sense. It's just baseball teams using monopoly money. I mean if you are going to give money away, just give some more to your scouts and advance scouts. It is mostly ignored because you mostly ignore the economics of the MLB when you make misinformed terrible statements like above.
  20. Well, superman of thread starters got a mouthful of kryptonite yesterday, so here is to hoping
  21. QUOTE (Lip Man 1 @ May 27, 2016 -> 10:47 AM) Which has nothing to do with the fact that as soon as he got out of town he became an All Star with the Yankees if I remember right. At the very least he turned back into a pretty good hitter. And Wells did not have a bad back "from the get go" he hurt his back in June if I remember. If he did, that makes Williams an idiot for trading for him anyway doesn't it? Mark He was known to have a bad back when they traded for him, and KW gambled and lost that he could pitch through it. Swisher may have had an all star season(got in on fan vote if I remember correctly)but when the Yankees needed him he turtled up and sucked in the playoffs. And Swisher still wasnt tipping pitches
  22. QUOTE (Soxnfins @ May 27, 2016 -> 10:44 AM) Not as much as it is lazy as it is a good comparison mentally for Anderson. Gordon was a SS converted into a 3B that was a mental midget... The game is 90% mental. That's just my opinion. Does Shawon Dunston ring a better tune? Personally, we need Anderson to do what he is best at- utilizing his speed and need him to grow defensively. That's why he needs to stay put where he is. He's an ideal #2 hitter with Eaton being our leadoff, or #9 to start out. Melky should be our #2 at the moment and if Robin wishes up and puts him there, there's no real need to bring up Anderson until the end of July. Rollins can be your 8 or 9. Why is it that 1300 at bats isn't enough, and he has to prove that he is mentally capable enough to handle the job, yet you keep saying bring him up in July? Either you bring him up when you feel he is ready or you don't, the super 2 date should be irrelevant if you think he needs to prove he has the mental fortitude to handle it
  23. QUOTE (Blackout Friday @ May 26, 2016 -> 05:31 PM) To be fair, he's going off tweets from Buster Olney. Beyond that is speculation, of course. Olney is fairly well respected in regard to these sorts of things. He is extrapolating a lot off of very little. To say the Sox are trying to trade for Gardner and Beltran is speculative at best, because reading what was posted I did not see Olney say those things
