QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 07:29 PM) A number of reviews have said Ben Affleck is one of the highlights. Do you agree with that sentiment? I have been pulling for an older Batman for a while. I don't mind an older Batman but I found it to be a strange decision to start the Justice League with a Batman significantly older than the other members

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 03:26 PM) More: WWE Diva Brie Bella will be retiring sooner than she originally planned … Pro Wrestling Sheet has learned the wrestler is hanging up her boots following the RAW after WrestleMania. Sources with direct knowledge tell us there’s no bad blood between WWE and Daniel Bryan — the recent appearances he pulled out of are due to a health issue. It’s unclear what the issue is at this point, but we’re told it’s the reason Brie wasn’t at RAW this week. She is probably preggo

QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 02:45 PM) I recently began playing wwe 2k14 and have been enjoying it. CM Punk has always been an interesting character and a great wrestler so I began looking through his storylines. Namely, the MITB here in Chicago vs. John Cena struck out to me. I kept reading online and have been finding various quotes, articles, etc. about Punk. Can anyone fill me in on why WWE and Punk can no longer co exist? Punk seems mad at WWE for not pushing him correctly? Does Punk dislike the fact that Cena is the superman character? Just any general information here for fun would be cool. Thanks Listen to Colt Cabanas podcast with punk, you will hear everything you need to know from Punks side

QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Mar 25, 2016 -> 08:42 AM) How did the roster quit last year? If Pau does not get hurt there is a good chance they beat he Cavs. Hoiberg and Gar should both be shown the door and not certain how Paxson stays. That final game against the Cavs, they definitely quit. Other than that, I don't see it

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 24, 2016 -> 11:32 AM) How has no one in the Chicago media blasted Hoiberg? Or have they and I am just ignorant? The score destroys him daily, KC Johnson and Vincent Goodwill I think try to be diplomatic because of their connections, Cowley is sly about his criticism because he is so focused on the front office problems. I'm unsure about ESPN because I don't listen to ESPN radio nor go to the website much anymore

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 24, 2016 -> 10:59 AM) Thibs' refusal to hire an offensive assistant (which could be retaliation for Adams), but wasn't Ron Adams fired in response due to criticizing the FO? Also, Thibs messed up by having JVG go to war on national television. JR would have defended him otherwise. Thibs was hamstrung and already knew his job was gone by the time JVG started talking s***. And Adams was fired after Gar started his bulls*** power play and refused to listen to his coach when it came to drafting. And he had every right to be pissed when he got Teague and wanted Draymond. And in the end Gar got what he wanted, and aren't we all happy for it.

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Mar 24, 2016 -> 10:40 AM) +1 Both Thibs and Gar are to blame for that split, not one or the other like people love to pretend. Disagree. People knew Thibs was weird, a basketball junkie, stubborn. The Bulls hired him with all of these things being known and then all the sudden these things bother them. Gar fires his right hand man, hires Jen Swanson to tell him who is allowed to play and how much, and then basically openly courted Hoiberg while Thibs was still coaching. I'm not even gonna count the supposed meeting where Gar told the team to listen to themselves and not Thibs. You can lay a small amount of blame at Thibs feet but not much.

Batman vs Superman currently sits at 33% at rotten tomatoes, and this of course can change after the official release at midnight but I highly doubt it moves up dramatically. Articles are starting to come out questioning if negative reviews will affect the Box office.. One thing I dont doubt is that the movie will make money based on the property alone, but I don't think it is going to break the previous benchmarks from Jurassic World and Age of Ultron as predicted

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Mar 23, 2016 -> 04:51 PM) Before the arguments begin, a public service announcement and reminder - how much the team is worth is not the same as revenue, nor are either the same as money available to pay for things. But they can borrow money from the Bulls to pay for things, right

QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Mar 23, 2016 -> 01:16 PM) Let's remember that RT is not the film's grade but the percentage of people who would recommend it others. The closest thing to the film's grade would be the CinemaScore which is a survey of audience members. I'm not really sure that CinemaScore is a true film grade of anything when I look at their recent reviews and Gods of Egypt has a B-, London has Fallen an A-, and the Revenant a B+. Seems kind of off to me

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Mar 23, 2016 -> 10:13 AM) I've seen a hand full of reviews mention Marvel movies and them being "fun". It's only been a couple. That is why I said those reviews don't really bother me because I know why they are giving it a bad review. Also, I'm not some DC fan boy that won't criticize DC. They have done an awful job at handling these movies. I think Marvel did a brilliant job in the way they released their movies. DC should have just flat out copied that. There are tons of other bad reviews that actually criticize the plot and that the movie is a mess. Those are the ones I think probably truly reflect why the movie might be pretty bad. Deadpool is not Disney Marvel, that is Fox. Plot and direction are a huge part of the criticisms of the movie though, which was my main worry. And the problem is that Snyder was given the keys to the kingdom, his fingerprints are all over everything going forward. This universe and these characters are strong and well written in their source material, I want it to succeed and compete

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Mar 23, 2016 -> 09:53 AM) What? That's what they are. I'm not saying they are bad. They just tend to be on the more fluffy funny side. Sure, fluffy and funny, that's what the Winter Soldier, Age of Ultron, The First Avenger were. That's why BvS is getting bad reviews, because people are expecting a Marvel movie and not because of the actual movie they watched. I haven't read one review that says anything close to comparing to Marvel movies but this is the first knee jerk reaction I read to a critique. Let's keep in mind that the grim and gritty approach took the Nolan trilogy to a average RT 85%, so apparently they weren't looking for fluffy and funny but rather a good movie

QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Mar 23, 2016 -> 08:43 AM) I don't mind the bad reviews that say the movie is to "grim" or "gritty". I think those reviewers just want the happy go lucky Disney Marvel movies. I mean this is a Batman movie. The bad reviews that worry me are the ones that say this movie is a mess and has an incoherent plot. That is what I was afraid of. Lmao, and there it is
