JS, I have to say that your above review starting off with you saying you were merely satisfied is a huge red flag for me. The RT and IMDb reviews don't really matter, you have been championing this movie for months and just satisfied is not something that would make me want to go out of my way to see it. The critics seem to be echoing the same thoughts, the movie is distracted and incoherent, explosions and fights are put in place of plot and character development
  2. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Mar 22, 2016 -> 05:36 PM) Sager has 3-6 months to live. Damn. He is said it is basically unheard of for someone to get a stem cell transplant three times, what a sad shame.

QUOTE (SnB @ Mar 22, 2016 -> 01:36 PM) I've just recently discovered Firestone Walker, might be my new favorite brewery. Great beer and the best logo. I went to the Noon Whistle a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it http://www.noonwhistlebrewing.com

Dusting this thread off because of the beerfest at the Field Museum this weekend, anyone going? https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2016-chicago-b...ets-21016334422
  6. QUOTE (Hatchetman @ Mar 21, 2016 -> 11:33 AM) I'd say rush him to the big leagues since his arm is supposed to fall off sooner rather than later. As Coop said, "we didn't draft a guy this high to be a reliever." You can't predict when a guys arm is supposed to fall off. Sales arm was supposed to be reattached three times by now

  11. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 02:12 PM) I get a weird vibe from it. The tone of the letter does not seem to fit way certain teammates are freaking out about it. Maybe its just me. I feel like Laroche at this point is done with it and wants it over with
  12. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Mar 16, 2016 -> 02:11 PM) right or wrong, the Sox are gonna look bad i remember when i said this 110 pages ago
  13. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 08:57 AM) Citing free speech is wrong with reference to someone speaking their mind on social media? Really? Yeah, OK... Im saying that he can say what he wants, but there could be repercussions. Nobody is restricting his right to free speech though
  14. QUOTE (shipps @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 08:59 AM) Apparently the bike had no lights and he was wearing dark clothing...at night...and he happens to be african american. Seems like a bunch of bad ideas all at once
  15. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 08:43 AM) Eaton speaking out on his personal Twitter account is about free speech which is why I brought it up. The point is that I respect the fact that Eaton has the right to say what he likes on his Twitter account ( free speech ) but the LaRoche issue is one that should have remained in the clubhouse until LaRoche made his final decision and all the facts were out, which not all the facts are out yet. Nobody has restricted Eatons right to say anything on Twitter, that doesn't mean a team rep shouldn't tell Eaton that he needs to be a little bit more edited in what he says on Twitter so they don't have to keep putting out these small fires that keep getting set all over the place Citing "free speech!" is wrong
  16. QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Mar 18, 2016 -> 07:44 AM) False. As the title of the thread says, he created it. Nothing about them actually talking about a trade. no, he is saying that. We know he made that s*** up, but that does mean he isnt presenting this as if its true and hoping it catches on. "Rumblings that Hanley Ramirez could be sent to the White Sox" is saying that

  22. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 11:51 AM) He has his kid out there all the time. Even brings him to press conferences, which I guess is considered cute and not annoying to the press. Oh does his son sit on the bench during games? I didnt know that
  23. QUOTE (ChicagoHeel @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 11:41 AM) HAHA even ex WWE stars getting in on this, he even called Laroche a hero ! What a joke. CoachVerified account ‏@CMPunk Good for LaRoche. Coach ‏@CMPunk 57m57 minutes ago Blocking people who have a s*** opinion on a guy doing what's best for his family. LaRoche is a hero. Well this is a guy who enjoys an anti-establishment storyline
  24. QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 17, 2016 -> 10:51 AM) You know I love a fellow Cubs homer He has been on the wrong side of Twitter arguments a few times in the last month. He freaked out about the Lovie hire and refused to acknowledge that the Cubs did the same thing with Maddon
