  1. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 15, 2015 -> 09:13 AM) Because I'm sure you know every single team's top 30 prospects and have watched all their videos, lmao. Probably you're going to be following in the footsteps of Kevin Goldstein and Keith Law with your erudition. Maybe we should just have the moderating team and the minor league "reporters" be the only ones at the site "eligible" to make comments on any player. That would be a lot more fun for us to just sit back and learn from the experts. Maybe we shouldnt pull everything out of our asses in order to comment and consider ourselves erudited?

dusting this thread off.... so me and my wife decided to foster dogs for the time being, and we were given a brother and sister mix breed. They look to my like they have some jack russell or rat terrier in them, and the other breed i just cant decide. They are both long and skinny(we are working on that part), 5 months old, slightly skittish(which i expected because of what has happened to them so far in their short lives), but very sweet. We have discussed possibly keeping them, but we just picked them up yesterday, so i am not sure yet. Anyone have experience fostering? any tips?
  3. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 15, 2015 -> 08:25 AM) Betts is already close to being a stud. Bogaerts hasn't quite become the star everyone projected, but he's not Middlebrooks by a longshot. Then there's Bradley, Jr. Eduardo Rodriguez (came from Baltimore for a certain Yankee LHR) looks like he could be legit. Then there's Swihart (catcher). They've got a lot of pieces but no idea what to do with all of them, like Rusney Castillo. So you'd ask for Moncada (probably be rejected), fall back to Swihart, Rodriguez or Henry Owens (maybe Brian Johnson), Rusney Castillo and Rafael Devers. Without Moncada, Betts and now Rodriguez....not sure the White Sox would be interested. I love when you browse team prospect rankings and start talking about teams. lmao
  4. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 14, 2015 -> 09:06 PM) That was a God awful episode. Lol no
  5. When Greg makes a prediction, people listen. I mean, wait a second..... http://espn.go.com/chicago/nhl/story/_/id/...nley-cup-finals
  6. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 11, 2015 -> 03:02 PM) Without winning six of seven vs. a lousy Chicago team ... they'd have been in the cellar where they belong. That is still a 14-6 May, removing white sox from the schedule. And that is pretty good
  7. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 11, 2015 -> 12:01 AM) Torii Hunter got ejected and was throwing equipment, etc., freaking out during the latter stages of the Twins loss to the Royals. Doesn't Hunter realize the Twins are NOT contenders. The sole reason they got jump started and over .500 was their utter dominance of Chicago. That four-game sweep and then two of three in the Cell carried them the next month or so. Ridiculous. The Twins are NOT a good baseball team. A four game sweep took them to a 20-7 record in May? Interesting
  8. Sorry Emilio, you gotta go
  9. It's awesome when people over react to colleges attended
  10. Shouldn't have led with the barrel roll. That is a finisher
  11. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 03:44 PM) Why did Hickman fall so far? The MLB blurb I just read said that he kind of took a step back this season, he couldn't maintain his FB velocity deep into games. They said it was dipping to high 80s. They also mentioned that his slider looked more like a curve this season, he wasn't getting the sharp break he had in the previous season
  12. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jun 9, 2015 -> 08:38 AM) Trey Cabbage is a huge want The possibilities are endless with that name
  13. @CST_soxvan: 7:35 first pitch White Sox and Astros.
  14. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 05:09 PM) What exactly was his surgery? First termed minor arthroscopic surgery, later Noah said it was "more than arthroscopic surgery" but nothing confirmed
  15. Baez just broke his hand
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 04:51 PM) Typically after a surgery like that it isn't the year you come back, but the year after that when a player gets back to normal. tifwiw but multiple nba reporters calling into the score have said his knee is bone on bone now, the cartilage is gone. He is what he is now, he will have good and bad days and probably won't come close to what he used to be
  17. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 04:36 PM) I still think Jo might be a solid player in Hoibergs offense. Heads always talks about Fred running the offense through a point forward, and 2013 point center Jo was a lot of fun. That said if getting rid if Jo (and Taj) means they can free up the money for a Danny Green or a Wes Matthews then Im all for it. Not with the current condition of Jo's knees can he be a good point forward.
  18. Those other two officers ran up to him with the quickness when he pulled out that gun
  19. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 02:09 PM) But, our players are still playing and he ain't Some of our players shouldn't be playing, which is the point
  20. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 09:36 AM) Like I said, Dorne continues to be a terrible storyline, but I thought the rest of the episode was good to great. He had 20 men and he destroyed all their supplies, siege weapons, and killed hundreds of horses. That's a pretty damn good attack. Yea but this is Ramsay. I was expecting someone to be kidnapped and flayed as well. It was a good attack, I just expected him to do something evil like he is known to be QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 09:41 AM) Even worse, before Drogon shows up the Faceless Men decided to attack solo, despite having the group surrounded and outnumbered. Clearly the best strategy. They also must have run out of CGI money. Holy crap was that whole scene terrible looking. I mean the stadium/crowd was fine, and some of drogon on his own was fine, but her flying was so bad. 80's tech bad. I can't disagree, the flying was super corny
  21. Yea, I thought Ramsay would have a more sinister attack in mind than setting some tents and horses on fire The gladiator scene was awesome though. Except the part where everyone was in peril and Dany flies away while Mermont, Daario, and Tyrion just watch. The attackers just decided to stop trying I guess
  22. Well it always helps when they other team sucks more
  23. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 5, 2015 -> 05:39 PM) You're not consdering the most important factor...their respective contracts. im considering that this is pretty much the norm for Rasmus and quite an aberration for Melky. Besides, your argument wasn't about cost, it was about production
