That is so Jerry Jones -
peavy44, you are all over the map here. Lets try and not call people racist for very non racist things. My reply made perfect sense, it was a tweet that south side sox posted just a few hours ago.

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 02:27 PM) Unless by locked out you just mean that leaguesafe wont let them pay if its late. You can set a deadline to pay and then turn on "allow late payments" and if its after the date is when they have to pay the extra $10, which goes to leaguesafe and not in the prize pool. The latest you can set the deadline is Sept 16th. But you do have the option to not allow late payments but Im not really sure what would happen to your league if someone didnt pay in time and then didnt have the ability to pay late. Maybe I am misunderstanding what leaguesafe is/does. Does it only take care of the money part? Or is it a fantasy league site as well? Fanball was an alternate to ESPN/Yahoo for me, and actually had a tab where I could track the money with the owners. And if they didnt pay, i could lock their team so they couldnt access it.

QUOTE (peavy44 @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 02:11 PM) Where u seeing that i see nothing about him on that site. Another corner of the internets @SouthSideSox: Rodon isn't available to pitch until Sept. 4, so the Sox might wait a few days to bring him up ...

QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 02:14 PM) I have used leaguesafe for years and Im overall very pleased with it. It has two ways to allocate payouts, majority vote or the commish has full discretion. There are really no fees as long as everyone pays before Sept 16th. Then Leaguesafe imposes a $10 late fee to the owner paying late. If you pay with a debit card they add a small fee to process the payment. Its like a dollar I believe. It also has an autonag option which emails people who havent paid yet and reminds them every few days. At the end of the season you can either receive payment via prepaid debit card, check or leave it in your leaguesafe account. Its also nice for keeper/rolling leagues. When a new season starts I can just reinvite people from last years league. It allows the commish to make payments for other people too. Ive had to do that a few times for people who would rather just use paypal. ESPN has a new system called Tilt also. Im trying it in one league just to see how it is. Ive already noticed its not as good as leaguesafe because it wouldnt let me pay for someone else who sent their entry fee to me on paypal. Is there a point in the season where a owners team is completely locked due to nonpayment? Or is that commissioner discretion?

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 02:12 PM) Completely disagree. At least with Goose you'll get a "here's where the D-line/O-line screwed up on that play" explanation. With Edwards/Oliver/Oakmin you're getting, at best, a "yeah, we really need to play batter next half to win the game" response from a coach/player. Sideline reporters who can't talk about the actual game are useless. all of them are useless. Goose bugs me more because he shouldnt be useless, but he is. -
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 02:08 PM) Source/link? Or just conjecture? Based on what? based on peavy44 gut feeling. I will put this one next to "Adam Dunn will not be traded this year"

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 02:06 PM) Did Winston-Salem make the playoffs? Is there a minor league team where Rodon could be headed? Doesn't make sense to hype the very likely possibility of Rodon pitching in September, just as a tease. Maybe they figured they could draw more Tigers/Royals/Indians fans to USCF than any Sox fans who would specifically come out to see a Rodon start. can they just move him up and down like that? Seems kind of crazy, he has been at what, 4 levels already this season?

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 02:04 PM) Also I'd like to point out I was wrong about Fales. after the final preseason game, I was prepared to say the same thing to you lol. I thought they were going to try and sneak him onto the practice squad -
South Side Sox says Rodon can still be called up since he is due to pitch next 9/4

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 01:38 PM) He has had terrible, but I think he has added an interesting element recently. Look, when people talk non-stop for 3 hours they are going to say something stupid. The thing is, Goose gets like maybe 5 minutes of those 3 hours, and says something stupid pretty much every time. I totally excuse color and PBP guys because they literally do have to talk for 3 hours. But goose has all game to come up with something, and usually when it is his turn I get a bunch of stupid. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 01:27 PM) I don't think Goose is any worse than Aikman or Simms. I mean look at this list of s*** for Fox: 1) Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and Erin Andrews 2) Kevin Burkhardt, John Lynch and Pam Oliver 3) Chris Myers, Ronde Barber and Jennifer Hale 4) Thom Brennaman, David Diehl and Laura Okmin 5) Kenny Albert, Daryl “Moose” Johnston and Tony Siragusa 6) Dick Stockton, Donovan McNabb/Brady Quinn/Kirk Morrison and Kristina Pink I'm surprised they didn't renew Billick's contract. He was the best analyst IMO, although he talked a little too much. Siragusa is easily the best on field talent and I agree he's added more as the years have gone by. Pam Oliver and Laura Oakmin run laps around Siragusa. And I am not comparing him to Simms or Aikman because they are in the booth. Goose is just jock talk combined with food talk. He barely offers an intelligent thought, which sucks. I do enjoy Moose and Kenny though -

QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 12:59 PM) Siragusa especially impresses me. I hated his first year or two, where he'd basically just talk about hot dogs in the crowd. Now he brings in good insight into how plays developed and player body language on the field. Wat. NO this is entirely false. Goose is terrible I just heard one of his sideline tidbits of wisdom where he explained to the audience at home that the people at the stadium cannot actually see the computer generated yellow first down line. -

QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 2, 2014 -> 11:42 AM) Did they change all the TV rules? With the road team being an AFC team this would always have been a CBS game. I just read it on twitter. Seems like it should be the home team that carries the broadcast -

Does anyone here use leaguesafe.com? I hear their commercials all the time on the score and I was wondering if their fantasy set up is nice. I used fanball.com one year and wasn't impressed enough to go back to it from the free yahoo or espn version
