I knew you had swimmers, congrats
  2. The worst part about a loss like this is stewing over it for the next week
  3. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Sep 7, 2014 -> 03:14 PM) Mel Tucker just F'N sucks This one is on the offense. The bears held them to 20 points in regulation and the offense just s*** all over themselves
  4. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 7, 2014 -> 02:38 PM) It can't be that easy to see a 300+ lb nose tackle. Not when you pass across the field. Which is exactly why you should NOT pass across the field
  5. Not a fan of what's going on with Marshall right now. Also, why did Alshon disappear?
  6. Bennett wasn't looking at all, I wonder whose f***up that was
  7. The defense looks like a bunch of guys that barely played in the pre season
  8. So, good start to the offense.
  9. Well, Colt Lyerla did what he does http://m.jsonline.com/sports/blogs/2742629...rce=twitterfeed
  10. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 7, 2014 -> 09:10 AM) Working until 3 on Sundays now. FML Sorry, I am not putting comments in spoiler tags in this thread for you
  11. Gaaaaaaaaaaamedaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!
  12. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 09:07 PM) And everyone wrote off victor Martinez three years ago too. Baseball is a what have you done for me lately kind of game. Victor Martinez managed to stay healthy and not cheat. Pineda has done neither
  13. The Harbaugh brothers have not responded to the domestic violence issue very well this past year http://deadspin.com/jim-harbaugh-says-dome...228066/+barryap

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Sep 5, 2014 -> 12:58 PM) I dont want to post spoilers but wow there is some s*** going on in the house right now onlinebigbrother.com spoilertags ftw Rock
  15. QUOTE (scs787 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 08:46 PM) Certainly not wrong, but that team still had a big time offense. We need a Dye to our PK(Abreu). If they can snag Stanton they're probably gonna be willing to put that payroll back up into the 120 range. Say Stanton gets 25M a year, that'll put the Sox salary at ~75M next year, 71M in 2016, Danks and Lexi's 25M come off the books in 2017, and Abreu/Sale are the only guys locked up in 2018. Trading Lexi for pitching could also free up even more $$. If they do decide to get that payroll back up to ~120 Stantons ~25 wouldn't prevent them from adding pitching. IIRC the Sox had a pretty mediocre offense, right in the middle of the pack

  17. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 04:16 PM) I don't know about you guys, but I'm worried about the game tonight. Rightfully so

I haven't had a dog for a few years and I hate it, but with a 4 year old and 16 month old in the house it just isn't the right time for us. Once my dogs passed away we jumped right in and adopted 2 more basset hounds but had to give them up after my wife became pregnant, because she developed a severe allergy to them. I thought I wanted to get a different breed like a German shorthair pointer, but the longer I go without dogs, the more I want to get a basset and a chocolate lab again. Hopefully we can get a puppy(or two) in a few years when the boys are older.
  19. It wasn't about the money. It's about Phils vision. And the money. Ok mostly the money. Alright it was all about the money
  20. QUOTE (scs787 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 02:12 PM) You'd think if Shea was a Lovie pick he wouldn't be given all these chances. Dude is a starting LB this year, and I actually think he'll do well in that role. He was Emerys first pick ever, he still will get the chances regardless if he was picked because Lovie wanted him

Sorry to hear that Joe, losing my two dogs within a month of each other in 2012 was one of the toughest things I have ever gone through
  22. But Abreu is tired. And needs the month off
  23. The New York Daily news announced in an editorial that they will no longer use the Redskins name nor print the logo in the paper. http://m.nydailynews.com/opinion/sack-article-1.1926865
  24. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Sep 4, 2014 -> 08:32 AM) At least half of Farmer's and Harrelson's broadcasts are name-dropping the same set of about 50-75 names from the past, at least I sometimes throw a little variety into it to spice it up. Your variety is naming cubs prospects in any thread you can. And trying to pose them in an argument against another point. Gillaspie vs Flowers? Schwarber hits a lot, but Almora? Hawk cutting back on road games? Bryant will hit 40 homeruns guaranteed, but what is Baez OPS if Hawk isn't calling the game? Spencer Adams or Chris Bassitt? The answer is Arrietta, or is it? Maybe it is not, maybe it is Hendricks, Alcantara or Vitters
