QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Oct 29, 2014 -> 08:31 AM) Not nearly enough horror movies. If we are currently having the golden age of comic book movies, we are going through the dark age of horror movies. Just nothing coming out, but awful ghost movies. Hopefully that changes with Trick r Treat 2, new Halloween and new Friday the 13th movies. The found footage movies like Paranormal Activity have dragged it down. The conjuring was pretty creepy, Woman in Black was ok, Mama was terrible(even though it started out good. Once the reveal happened it was awful). there is simply no creature horror movies anymore. When is the last merely decent werewolf movie? I know Universal is trying to create a monster connected universe with wolfman, mummy, frankenstein, and creature from the black lagoon, but I dont know how thats gonna go.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 29, 2014 -> 07:59 AM) Like he was in...um...Thor? Yea, but that wasnt too long, and was more a punishment from Odin. Plus, Thor doesnt even know that Loki is in charge right now, and who knows where Odin is. I think Avengers 2 is gonna end badly for all

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 09:41 PM) We got another clip tonight during Agents of Shield, they gave us the "lifting the hammer" scene that was shown at comic-con. Probably on the youtubes but with this one go find it yourself I have a feeling that is going to play into the greater arc of Thors character, ie. he will not be worthy to pick it up at some point in the movie, maybe carrying over to Thor 3

Just want to correct my previous post, 1.1 innings, 5 earned.

1 1/3 inning, 2 runs. Pay him all of the money, Theo

They keep repeating that the Giants had 15 innings straight of no runs given up, did they honestly think that would last tonite?

Peavy is Peavying

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 06:50 PM) "If the season ends today" Pretty sure it doesn't. But........If it does

I just watched that, incredible footage.

If you want to discuss other movies, then do so. Don't complain about other movies being discussed. Caulfield sees every movie that is available and talks about them all the time, Brian usually talks about the movies he sees. A lot of us happen to like comic book movies and discuss them.

QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 03:34 PM) Too much. I feel like all major movies are always comic book movies or a series of movies like Hunger Games, Harry Potter, etc There are plenty of movies that arent what you mentioned. Im sure Interstellar will do just fine

Cuba better start building taller fences

QUOTE (raBBit @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 02:10 PM) Jeez, I never heard his report was to this extent. Regardless, whoever does end up with Lind may as well have been a contender for Martinez. A lot of people have thrown Baltimore and Seattle out there as options and they figure to be involved with Martinez as well. If I had to guess on both I would say Lind to Oakland and Martinez to Seattle or Detroit. EDIT: I still think nothing of Levine, just thought it was interesting he'd put his reputation out there. The Sox have watched Martinez very closely over the years and it's not hard to believe they like him a lot as a player. His age, contract and compensation are a lot to swallow though. in the 2004 offseason he staked his reputation on the Sox signing Omar Vizquel. less than 24 hours after he did that, Omar signed a 3 year deal with the Giants

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 01:45 PM) That was a dude who was supposed to be sure 30 homer guy annually, but maybe even 40. Now he is hot garbage. Remember how crazy-awesome that draft was supposed to be? Didnt really turn out how people expected

QUOTE (Iwritecode @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 10:47 AM) Definitely time to panic. i think a wall should be constructed around the state of Texas until we know it is all clear. And even when it is all clear, we keep the wall up. Gotta make sure Tex stays in there

apparently Peavy let it be known yesterday that him and his bro Lester are pretty interested in Chicago. I only put this here because he let it slip during his interview

I am starting to believe that Dominic Brown is the new Eric Chavez

QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 09:47 AM) I'm all in favor if it gets us a decent catching prospect. They'd probably just send you a ticket sales rep, though. The irony though, is that I literally already work for a Yankees affiliate. Oh thats not irony, that was intentional

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 08:44 AM) wRC Cola is so in the past. It is like a TV without a remote. You need the wRC+ stuff. Much better. i didnt know they made an energy drink. that stuff is gonna sell like crazy

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 08:53 AM) Terrible group of opening games. Nice scheduling nba. NAMES NAMES NAMES instead of TEAMS TEAMS TEAMS

QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 28, 2014 -> 08:31 AM) what if it's f***ing Jeter? well at least we get a bunch of gold gloves

I trade Eminor3d to the New York Yankees minor leagues for whomever they deem fit to send back.

One thing we always did when our Malamute(and later, my lab) was nipping and biting was we always offered a bone or a toy. She caught on pretty quick. Brittanys are pretty smart, im sure she will figure it out
