Everyone is saying that it was the Sox's decision not to bring back Rooney, but the article on chicagosports.com made it seem like it was Rooney's decision to leave. Maybe he wants to do ESPN full time, there's probably more money doing national work. Rooney, who teamed with Farmer for the past 14 seasons, notified the Score and the White Sox that he will not return to the booth in 2006, leaving WSCR searching for a replacement.
