  1. If Johnny was Jay Cutler, CT was the New York Giants. I've never seen someone owned and embarrassed like that in a challenge. For all you Terriers fans, check this article out: http://www.cnn.com/2010/SHOWBIZ/TV/12/09/t...x.html?hpt=Sbin

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 6, 2010 -> 02:33 PM) There were new writers this season. I think a couple of them were from "24". No wonder the storylines seemed recycled. 24 got kind of predictable and boring for awhile until the last half of the final seasons. They would constantly recycle storyline. I do have to say though, that the last few episodes have really saved season. I can't wait for the finale now.

What about Lumen? Will she live? It is Julia Stiles so I doubt she is on the show anymore after this season, but that doesn't mean she will be killed.
  4. I'm as sentimental as the next guy, but no thanks. AJ, Mark, and Paulie will have to keep repping 2005. Hopefully the boys with Adam Dunn can give another one in 2011. I'm starting to feel really good about this team next year:)
  5. QUOTE (Stan Bahnsen @ Dec 4, 2010 -> 02:18 PM) I agree with this lineup to start the year, and if Lexi and Bacon are both having good years, I'd like to see Lexi at 2 and GB at 3 eventually. I like it except I would like to see Quentin moved behind Rios until Q proves that he wasn't just a one year wonder. Ramirez can move up to in front of him too if he actually does something before June.

QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Nov 29, 2010 -> 11:52 AM) I have no interest in 3D movies I haven't seen one yet. I am against them for the most part too as I have always preferred an interesting plot to special effects

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 29, 2010 -> 11:45 AM) I had this identical experience a week ago. It was pretty good. I wished I had seen it in 3D
  9. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 29, 2010 -> 11:20 AM) Funny how having a 8-3 team leads to no anti-Lovie posts...yes, I am a pro Lovie guy I don't see how anyone can be anti-Lovie at this point. The Bears aren't supposed to be leading the division this late in the year. The adjustments the team has made on offense have just been phenomenal as well. We have Hester returning kickoffs again. There really isn't anything to complain about right now (crosses fingers Cutler doesn't get picked 4 times next week)
  10. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Nov 29, 2010 -> 11:06 AM) Yeah I love the scenes he's in. And who knows, maybe he gets in trouble for the drowning later on. I can't imagine that will go over too well. And is Margaret officially on the hit list or do you think Nucky will try to make amends? I don't think Nucky would go after an innocent person like Margaret. So far he has only knocked off so called "bad guys." The only way he goes after her is if his back is against the wall. Like if she was going to testify and bring him down. Even then I still think they would make it a tough decision for him that I don't know if he would go through with it.
  11. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 29, 2010 -> 01:30 AM) Can't tell if it's sarcasm or not...I'm assuming it is...I honestly don't even think they're the best 2-9 team in the league, as I think Detroit is a better team, though I also doubt they are 2-9 at this point with a healthy Stafford. But beyond that, I expected them to be a monumental disaster and to go like 1-15, and the reasons ranged from their inability to lure a big name head coach to Buffalo to once again signing virtually nobody of impact in free agency to drafting a gadget player with the #9 pick to naming Edwards the starting QB in preseason and then cutting him like 3 weeks later to shuffling the running back touches like crazy and having no offensive consistency to the defense showing virtually no signs of adequacy...they've come a long ways. I'm not going to sit here and say that they need only one or two more pieces to be competitive, but there have been signs that they might not actually be the least competent franchise in the NFL. They need to build both lines up a bit more, add more pieces to the defense, and bring in a developmental signal caller (preferably before round 7 this time), but they aren't nearly as far away as I thought they were starting the year. I was actually being serious. They could easily be 6-5 and possibly even better. Their offense has become a force to be reckoned with now. Fred Jackson is running well, Fitzpatrick seems to put up big numbers every week (even though he has been on my fantasy bench almost all year). They just can't seem to put everything together. They have kept it close with some of the elite teams in the NFL and have been a dropped pass of a FG kick away on many occasions. The Lions are a tough 2-9 as well, but I don't think any team in contention wants to play the Bills right now.
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Nov 28, 2010 -> 11:52 PM) He is amazing. Speaking of them, that has to be about the hardest 2-9 of all time. Their last 4 losses have been decided by a field goal or less, and they've lost 7 games by one score (and an 8th by 10 points, a game they were leading for a while against Jacksonville). On my drive back today, I caught about 3 minutes of the Vikings post game coverage, and the radio dude was talking about how the Vikings have the Bills coming up on the schedule and how the Bills are a "terrible team." Perhaps the Vikings will be playing inspired football in their first home game without Childress, but if they take the Bills lightly, they're gonna get steamrolled, because they are most certainly not a terrible team. Easily the best 2-9 team I have ever seen.
  13. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 26, 2010 -> 10:03 AM) Wow, this Kanye album is, IMHO, the best hip hop album since Tupac's All Eyez on Me. Absolutely brilliant. I love the new cd as well. Kanye has a got a lot of talent, but he still doesn't know when to keep his mouth shut http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2010/11/...1-25_kanye.html

  15. QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Nov 18, 2010 -> 01:44 PM) Question: Can shotgun be called via a text message the day before a road trip? (i'm driving so it doesnt matter to me) No it has to be the day of, and you have to call it when you are outside. If you go outside, call shotgun, and return inside for any reason, you lose your claim on shotgun, unless you are the first to call it when returning outside

  17. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 17, 2010 -> 09:10 AM) They are making this season just different enough to work. But honestly, they need to wrap it up soon. Next season should be the last one. This season they are just taking main storylines from 2 previous seasons and putting into this one.
  18. Lethal Weapon 5 might be the greatest thing I have ever seen
  19. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 11, 2010 -> 09:11 AM) I'm sure he will. Either that or they'll kill him off... but yeah, I love his character. FX/Fox shows seem to use a lot of the Shield actors. Lem on SOA, Dutch on SOA, Shane (Walton Goggins) on Justified, Aceveda on 24, and Glenn Close on both the Shield and Damages
  20. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Nov 10, 2010 -> 04:06 PM) Thunder Muscle I don't think so. I googled it and that seems to be some kind of energy drink
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Nov 10, 2010 -> 08:22 PM) No "Cut Throat Challenge" on that list. Big mistake! The republicans won't start watching that until CT comes backs.
  22. Does anyone know what the beer is called that has a picture of a flying horse around a castle. I pick it up once in a while from the liquor store, but it is in a foreign language or something.
  23. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 10, 2010 -> 09:25 AM) Free agent list is kinda weak this year. I like Werth, but he is a Boras client. V-Mart is a solid hitter, but he should be playing 1B at this point. Are there other teams that won't deal with Boras, or is it only us?
  24. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Nov 9, 2010 -> 10:13 PM) I'm pretty happy with SOA tonight, and it leaves a nice little problem to solve before the end of the season for Jax. I'm also glad they didn't kill off Jimmy O yet, as I think he can be useful and a good character down the road again. First week in awhile that it didn't suck
  25. 1. MB deserved it, even though he would have won it if he didn't. He is basically guaranteed the GG for the next few years based on the Buehrle meter play and winning it 2 times in a row. 2. They should base certain awards like this one on pure defensive statistics. Its not perfect, but its better than letting these idiots vote completely wrong year after year.
