There is not much he can really say here. He wants to show the players that he has now that he has full confidence in them. Its like when Tiger Woods said he was sorry for sleeping with all of those women. He wasn't sorry he did that, he was sorry he got caught. Say what the people need to hear (in Ozzie's case "the people" being his team).

Electric Lemonade: One 24 case of miller lite one handle of vodka of choice lemonade powder -Put in a large jug and stir. It may sound like it would taste terrible, but it is actually pretty damn good, especially for bbqs and outdoor parties

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 09:03 AM) It's getting quiet in here folks...WHERE IS everyone???? I skipped a few days this past week due to drunkeness, so I am a few days behind my schedule. Had yoga yesteday, Legs & Back tonight... Sorry, I'll be back at it soon. Taking a few weeks off, gonna hit the gym for a little bit, then I'll be back. A few days after July 4th weekend is the plan

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 09:58 AM) What a bunch of f***ing hypocrites in here. If any one of you had a 14 year old son that was killed by a cop for throwing rocks you'd all have a huge legal team in place for the excessive force used by the police. Luckily most of us will never have to deal with that problem because we most likely won't raise kids that stupid. I'm sure we have all done our share of dumb things ourselves as teenagers, throwing rocks at someone we know has a gun probably isn't one of them.

6-17 GAME THREAD sox vs pirates 6:00, WGN

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 17, 2010 -> 07:38 PM) People need to stop saying ya but they are beating bad teams. The Sox are over .500 against teams with winning records that is why they need to beat the bad teams. If they beat the bad teams they could make this exciting as I say this, they will probably blow this game and I will be back in the we suck mentality. True, but Pirates bad is much different than Indians bad or Kansas City bad. The Pirates are as close to a triple A team as a major league team can be. Thank god for them that they play the Cubs so much -
Finale of Justified was awesome. I am glad that I stuck with that show!

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 13, 2010 -> 04:42 PM) So, in your mind, it is appropriate? And you've a bad analogy there. I would hope police and border patrol are held to a little higher standard than a drunk in a bar. They're supposed to be professionals. They're not supposed to shot someone unless their own life or another's is in danger. Stop making excuses or canards about Obama being mean to BP. Throwing rocks at people with guns is dumb. They deserved to be shot based on stupidity alone.

Here are a few words to live by: "Don't throw rocks at people with guns." Its a great way to improve your chances of not being shot

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 9, 2010 -> 06:31 PM) I love that workout...it's tough, but it's my favorite. Also my favorite. Towards the end, I often have trouble pushing myself up from the ground after maxing out on pushups. When I find a way to get myself up, I do the next back exercise and repeat

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 8, 2010 -> 06:05 PM) Legs & Back is in the books. Damn, did I sweat during this workout. My quads always kill during this routine. Lots of squats in different variations! Love the two minute long calf raises though.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 10:08 PM) Did it snap up and hit you? I hate those damn crouching cohen curls...Damn them! Actually no. Since I had such a large loop for the curls, there wasn't enough length on the band to hit me. This was the first and last time I use a band for the crouching cohen curls lol.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 7, 2010 -> 08:09 PM) Shoulders & Arms out of the way, going to take a break and then hit yoga as I missed a day yesterday. Also did this today. I use weights for most exercise but use the band on a select few for variety. I broke the band today on the crouching cohen curls, so it looks like all weights for the rest of the way...

QUOTE (bmags @ May 23, 2010 -> 10:47 AM) Got a call from my friend yesterday "Hey man, wanna go to this music festival in Tinley Park, it's $25" "Eh, I'm trying to save my money and they'll rape me with the cost of beer, what's playing" "Don't worry bout the ticket, It's gonna just be some live music, the sun, some folk stuff" "Alright" Mother f***er tricked me into going to Country Thunder. While there was an extraordinary # of good looking women dressed in daisy dukes and letting their boobs hang out (who also all raised their hands when asked if there were any believers in the audience) The dudes were all absolutely hideous. Quite a conundrum. Also, I was doing fairly well when the sun was out, and we had some alcohol and I could just relax, but when the sun went down and I was forced to listen to the final act exclusively, Montgomery Gentry. And I can say, I understand most every other music and why it can appeal to people even if I don't like it...except for country. I really have no f***ing clue the difference between each individual song, why everyone sings in the same voice, and how the f*** it can be enjoyable to just talk about honky tonking and your truck. It was f***ing painful. Especially losing a saturday night to that. I got free Skybox tickets to Jamboree and I felt the same way about it that you did about Country Thunder. I like a wide variety of music, including alternative, hard rock, metal, etc. which is what Jamboree is supposed to be. I only got to hear Hollywood Undead, Seether, Papa Roach, and Three Days Grace. Not impressed to say the least... I was actually looking forward to Papa Roach too, but their live sound was just awful

Quentin might drive in over a hundred runs with his terrible average on a terrible offensive team. -

QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jun 6, 2010 -> 02:16 PM) I'm still all for the idea of the fans running the team. With the technology these days, it wouldn't be hard to make some kind of democratic vote for lineups, pitching changes, pinch runners/hitters, all that. And I am 100% sure we'd do a better job running the team than Oz. I say that in all seriousness. That is absolutely the dumbest idea I have ever heard. Do you realize how stupid the general public is as a whole? -
QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2010 -> 03:12 PM) Wow, that's impressive that you actually touch your chest like Tony tells you to...I don't go that low... Yeah, at first I couldnt do many doing it like that, but then I realized my legs werent wide enough apart like they do it in the video. It was easier to do after that. The dive bomber pushup are still pretty damn tough still. I have been slacking a lot on the ab ripper x lately though, I gotta start doing those again. How are those adjustable free weights working out for you Shack? I was thinking of getting some of those because I am kind of limited in the amount of different weights I can use during a workout. I only have 35's, and two adjustable dumbells that take forever to change because I have to unscrew both sides, change he weights, and screw them back on. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but its impossible to do that and keep up with the pace of the workouts.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 5, 2010 -> 02:51 PM) Good work, Gooch. How many diamond pushups are you knocking out now? I do about 12 where I touch my chest to my hands, then I either switch to my knees and max out or just don't touch my hands and do as many as I can. Pretty tough to do the 2nd time around lol.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jun 4, 2010 -> 11:32 PM) Back and Chest tonight....nailed it...GRRRRRRRR Just did it as well. Last one for my first go round at P90X. Felt great!

I also did legs and back today. This program sure does work the hell out of your legs... I am doing Cardio X tomorrow just to try something new. Then I will have 2 weeks left in the program, 1 week of each routine. After I finish, I plan to return to the gym for a month or two to put on some bulk, and then probably do P90X all over again. I will definitely use a lot of the exercises that I have used in P90X at the gym as well. Eventually, I would like to develop a plan that would include the P90X workouts as well as weightlifting at the gym.

I know I am a couple of days late, but I am really looking forward to the last couple episodes of Justified this season. So many conflicts going on, Raylan and Boyd, Raylan and his father, his father and Boyd's father, Boyd's father and Boyd. A lot of interesting stuff...

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 25, 2010 -> 09:54 AM) Season 1 - GREAT Season 2 - GREAT Season 3 - FAVORITE Season 4 - Good Season 5 - OK Season 6 - Awful 24: Redemption Movie prior to season 7 - GREAT Season 7 Very Good Season 8 - GREAT That's my quick 24 synopsis. I pretty much agree exactly with this. Although season 3 was my favorite, season 8 might have taken over that spot. The most recent season would have definitely been my favorite, but the first half was weak. I would have to check out season 3 again before I picked a favorite. I also have heard they going to get rid of the real time format for the movie. It will be interesting to see what Jack can do when he has more than 24 hours.
