  1. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 08:04 PM) This team is starting to look like 2007 bad. In 2007 I just stopped watching them. After consistently having leads and watching them get blown by our terrible bullpen was too much for me. No matter what the score was, I knew there was a good chance we would lose the lead. At least now I know that when the other team scores 4 or more runs the game is probably over
  2. QUOTE (joeynach @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 07:49 PM) Its so obvious Andruw Jones needs to be the everyday DH. He at least brings a consistent power threat every single day and he hits the ball hard. Kotsay should be a sunday starter only. I would like Kotsay a lot more if Ozzie used him like he should be used a.k.a. pinch hitter, defensive replacement/spot starter
  3. So in essence, we passed on Jim Thome so Mark Kotsay could DH. All of the double play hitting capability with none of the power

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Apr 16, 2010 -> 06:01 PM) I hear ya. I just could not do abs after my first Legs & Back today, but I plan to make it up tomorrow. Hell I only do abs about twice a week. Sometimes after chest, tris, and shoulders, or legs and back, I am out of gas and skip ab ripperx or just do half of it. I often do abs on my rest day instead. The leg workout, the plyo workout, core synersistics, and yoga all work your abs as well to varying extent, just not to the same level that ab ripper x works them.

Do your best and forget the rest sounds like a lame slogan, but its true with this program. Do what you can. There have been days when I totally didn't feel like working out but did the best that I could with what I had that day. I have missed a few days in a row before, and I just go right back at it asap. Just because you can't always perform as well as you should doesn't mean you should do nothing at all. Struggling through plyo is a lot better than not doing anything at all. So what if you have to cut a few exercises short because your out of gas, or you can't keep up with the people on the video? Just getting up and working at it when you don't feel like you have anything that day, and giving it your best can make all the difference in the world.
  6. The question is will anyone spill the beans about what really happened besides Sandra. If the villains all stick together, they can make Sandra seem like a liar, but if any other one of them tells the truth, Russell could be in big trouble

Had to cut plyo short shy of halfway through because my quad tightened up on me real bad First time I haven't made it through a full plyo since week 1

LOL I lied, I meant I that I did chest, tris, and shoulders. I just brainfarted. The decline pushup sound great right now compared to the one arms and the slow mo pushups

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 13, 2010 -> 05:47 PM) Chest and back. Bang I just did the same and my upper body feels like jelly. I upped my weights this week, which might have something to do with it
  10. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 09:57 PM) I bought a Dell in 2002, and finally bought a new one in 2009. Zero problems here. My sister has a Dell that she got a year and a half ago. She has already had to send it back to the company to get fixed twice, and she got it fixed from another source a third time. I don't know a whole lot about computers, but I've used PC's for most of my computer using life and so have most people I know. They get viruses, and slow down to turtle like speeds over time. The few people I know who use macs don't have these problems. Yes they might slow down over time, but not to the rate of the PC's that I have used and seen. I bought a macbook last July and I couldn't be happier with it to this point. Ive had no problems with it, and I don't really have worry about viruses. Unless something changes drastically, I don't see myself going back to a PC.
  11. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:51 PM) Because I think over 162 games the stats are going to even out. I doubt that at the end of the season the Sox are the lowest scoring offense in the AL. If the stats even out, then we can't expect this type of pitching the entire year either. While the offense will get better, we are losing games where the starters are giving up 3 or less runs. That can't stay consistent all season either.
  12. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Apr 10, 2010 -> 02:12 PM) Yeah. Pods was a magician with the glove, and cannon for an arm. We should have done whatever it took to keep him in a Sox uniform. Nobody is saying that. What people are trying to say is why did we pay Pierre this much when Pods would have been cheaper and an equal if not slightly better product
  13. Great investment, paying Pierre much more than Pods, and getting a worse version of Scotty
  14. Still a solid performance from Freddy. Hopin' to get some runs and get a win to a SP who isn't named Mark Buehrle
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 9, 2010 -> 09:31 PM) It's infectious. Most of the team batted poorly last year. Pods was one of the few exceptions

B&B was pretty damn hard. I found myself using the chair a lot for pullups, and switching weights between sets. I love all of the different curl variations
  17. Im amazed that they actually make that much money!
  18. I don't even dislike Kotsay when he is starting. I dislike him when he is dhing and batting 5th in the order
  19. Kotsay gets a lot of hate, but when there is only one guy that got a hit that left the in field and all of your RBI's against the Indians, there is plenty of blame to go around. With that said, I do hate watching Kotsay in the 5th spot, especially thinking about how that could (or should) be Jim Thome
  20. QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 7, 2010 -> 07:48 PM) We are, like totally, gonna get no hit. ...And win

Just got back to it today after a 3 day hiatus due to excessive busy-ness. This was the 2nd time I took more than one day off at a time and both times I have come back to plyo. If that doesn't jump-start you back into the program I don't know what will. This was especially tough, as I just came of a rest week so it has been awhile since my last plyo. I'll tell you guys what though, after 3 days I was having some P90X withdrawals. Feel a lot better now
  22. I miss the good old days when catching opening day just meant I would have to skip a class or two. Moral of the story, jobs sucks, stay in school
