QUOTE (MuckFinnesota @ Oct 7, 2010 -> 12:05 AM) Does Loyola, Roosevelt or DePaul offer night classes or continuing education classes to get a certificate or Master's degree that would be conducive to your employment or family situation? Roosevelt offers night classes for MBA classes. I am getting my masters in I/O psychology right now and I believe the MBA classes run along the same timeline 6-8:30 pm.

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 10:59 PM) Amazing episode tonight, easily the best of the series so far in my opinion. Kenny entering to Hulk Hogan's Real American theme was one of the greater moments in TV history. I was laughing my ass off that entire time

My biggest problem with the roasts now are that they just pick the easiest people to roast. They used to pick some of the biggest stars, and were forced to be creative about the jokes. Jokes about people like Bob Saget, Flavor Flav, and David Hasselhoff are basically written before the comedians even have to think about them.

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Oct 1, 2010 -> 09:19 AM) What is funny is at work I read Entertainment Weekly when I am on the can and the article about the SOA talked about how Gemma got the job. I get the feeling this show may not last long with the way it is going. I am not interested in the dramatic stylings of outlaws....I watch Desperete Housewives for this. People do this every year. First episode or two: That was awesome, there was so much action! I didn't see that coming! This is the best show ever! Middle 6 or 7 episodes: This is too much drama. I want more action. Who cares how the main characters feel? Most of this is boring. Final 3-5 episodes of the season: Wow! That was crazy! I can't believe they just did that?! What's going to happen next?! This is so intense! Final 20 mins of last episode: What a twist! I can't believe they ended it like that. I can't wait to see what happens next season. Most good shows do this. Get used to it. They have to provide background information for future twists, and make viewers care about the characters (or at least get to know them personally) so people will actually care what happens to them. If it was all gunfights and crime people wouldn't get invested into the show. Who would have cared if Jaxx's baby got stolen if they didn't go into his family life last year?

QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Sep 22, 2010 -> 12:57 PM) Anybody ever see The Godfather Trilogy? I thought it was pretty good. Also there was The Godfather Saga...which put parts 1 & 2 in chronological order. I thought the Trilogy was better, but both were kinda cool and a must see for fans. I actually enjoyed watching them in chronological order very much. I especially liked watching the old Vito Corleone scenes from when he was younger uninterrupted.

QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 14, 2010 -> 10:07 PM) What did the Irish priest say at the very end of that scene? And I noticed something when they showed the previews. Stephen King will be playing a biker this season. I had to look it up to verify it. I have problems understanding a lot of what the Irish say on SOA not just because of their accent, but they always seem to be whispering too.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 12:28 PM) The third base for the Sox is cursed. Not when Omar plays there. Omar at 3rd, Lilli at 2nd is our best lineup with Beckham out.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 02:21 PM) Both of those ballclubs are playing competitive baseball for the most part. Those type of teams always take pride in knocking teams out of the playoffs at the end of the year as well, so maybe if we make it close... -

I was thinking that we had a chance shot at the wild card just yesterday with the Rays tough schedule coming up, but then I looked at the end of Tampa's schedule. They finish up against KC and Baltimore for their final 7, so I can us getting close, but not overtaking the WC. -
I had asked a lot of my Cub fan friends in college who would talk smack about AJP why they hated him so much (pre getting hit by Barrett), and none of them were able to give me a straight answer. There are a lot of people out there that boo AJ, and I think most of them don't really know why...

QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 1, 2010 -> 05:44 PM) At this point, I'm offering Paulie this: Year 1: $12M Year 2: $10M Year 3: $9M/Team Option Year 4: $8M/Player Option He's just so good when healthy and if Dayan takes over at 1B next year, Paulie will be able to DH and stay even healthier. After watching Paulie make pick after pick at 1st base I'm not in a huge rush to see Dayan at 1b...

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 31, 2010 -> 11:31 AM) Pig is a meat that we can replenish, dolphins are wild animals that are rounded up and killed and they dont have the reproductive stamina that a domesticated herd animal does. This is going into the wild and slaughtering generations of animals with no thought of how they can repopulate. The way it is done is horrible, and the lack of foresight in regards to the species wellbeing is even moreso. I dont care that you are a vegan, thats your choice. I eat animals and its something I dont mind. I do mind, if the animal i am eating is rapidly becoming endangered because of my actions. Pigs need not worry about that Species would be much better off becoming extinct than raised with virtually no space to live, and just being bred to be slaughtered. At least dolphins get the chance to live in the wild, while pigs have no life at all.

QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 30, 2010 -> 10:07 PM) Entourage has been decent this season, but there's been way too much Sasha Grey and tequilia. Urlacher had a cameo in this last episode...reports are it was supposed to last longer, but he got injured during the first scene and sat out the rest of the show. I didn't get the tequila angle last week. If the guys brother didn't care about what happens to the company, couldn't the other brother just buy enough of his shares to get over 50% and have the controlling stake in the company?

I'm just going to go ahead and say that I almost hate that cell phones were ever invented. They are ruining our society. They cause more car accidents than drunk driving. You can't even hold a conversation with someone anymore without them doing something on their phone. Hell you can't even stand in line at the grocery store or sit on the train without hearing someone's life story while they talk on the phone. Sorry for ruining your thread with my rant. (In Billy Madison voice) Now go on with the weird things!

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 17, 2010 -> 03:02 PM) I actually don't mind that stuff too much. Call me a wuss. And more Jessica please! I agree. I feel like she is the most interesting character because I like watching her learn how to be a vampire. And she is hot.
