  1. Odalis will probably go to Anaheim since they lost out on Clement.
  2. He'll be wearing #51 in black and white pinstripes, baby!
  3. Not to mention they're not taking on Green's salary.
  4. I don't feel like catching up with 10 pages, is the Randy Johnson trade official?
  5. I don't even rely on q101 to play good music, much less bring me mlb news.
  6. Touching 'em is real enough for me!
  7. Your post brought tears to my eyes, Randy Johnson is salvation!
  8. Yea, it's hard to call a sinker anymore since it ends up in the seats so often.
  9. Garland's got great stuff and a great, live, arm. However, you can't put anything together until you get some smarts and some balls. He doesn't seem to be able to find either.
  10. Clement will go to Boston, Odalis will go to Anaheim, and we'll be stuck with jack and s***.
  11. I don't really have any inside info, my friend. However, Bruce is more often wrong than right, I don't put faith in what he has to say.
  12. Douche Levine is more like it.
  13. It seems like you me and AddisonST are the only one's supporting this trade. I don't understand that. Why wouldn't you want to have, not just a good pitcher, or even an all-star pitcher, but a shut down-Hall of Fame pitcher? Randy Johnson is the best pitcher in the major leagues.
  14. Do you want to win a World Series? Too old? He wasn't too old last year to pitch 245 innings, have a 2.6 ERA and 290 k's. Give me a break
  15. Has he shown any signs of slowing down? I don't know if you saw that he threw a perfect game just last year. He's consistent every game, Garland is not. He will dominate in the playoffs, Garland will not.
  16. Because we're gonna get RJ!
  17. I think your math there is a little off. Garland will probably win between 10-12, whatever free agent we sign will probably win between 12-15. Johnson will probably win between 19-23, and the warm body will probably do 6-10. So the worst to best case scenario for Garland and the FA is 22-27, while the worst case scenario for RJ, warm body is 25-33. Not a huge difference, but when you get to the playoffs, and teams have to face RJ, Garcia, and Buerhle, that's where it really pays off.
  18. When has Randy Johnson not been a shut down pitcher, or when was the last time he had an off year?
  19. The only thing ridiculous would be the look on my face if this deal gets done. Understand people, Randy Johnson would be the best thing that happened to the White Sox since who knows.
  20. I disagree, if Schoenweis can stay healthy, he has the stuff to win 12 games.
  21. How does anyone here really know that Pierz is the kinda guy that everyone hates to play against, but loves to have on their team. No one knows what kind of locker room precense he brings except for the players that have actually played with him. Personally, I think the guy is a jagbag.
  22. It's hard to be the best when you can't stay healthy. Burnett will never stay healthy.
  23. I never even looked at his stats here, boy, do I feel like a jackass. I think washburn or perez along with pierz is a better deal than just clement
